Lerya's Story
It was a lonely summer afternoon when I was all alone on the swing. Everyone already left, no one to talk to and full of regrets. Everytime I always keep on thinking why I don't have any friends, I tried to talk to them, and everytime I talk to them, I always keep on seeing on their face that they disgust me. I almost cried but there was a stranger who approached me. I raised my head as he talked to me, he asked me shyly "Why are you all alone?" I don't know what should I say to him because it's my first time talking to a guy, I then responded "I don't have any friends." I didn't even know why I said that! I screwed things up! But he spoke out "I could be your friend." it's not that usual for me, it's my first time that a person would befriend me. I'm so happy that a stranger will be friend me, I'm so happy. That I wanted to hug him, but he is a stranger, so it's not a good idea. I rather spoke "Really?!" and he responded "Y-yes..." I've never been happy like this! I held his hand even I don't know him. I sweared to him " I promise! I will be a good friend!" as I smile at him he begun to ask "Oh... By the way, what's your name?" I responded immediately "My name is Lerya, my family and relatives call me Lea. By the way what's your name?" he said shyly "Oh... Me
my name is Leon." My heart leaped out when we both have both L in our names I spoke out in excitement "Wah... We have L's in our names! We must be fated!" He just smiled at me and looked at me in the eyes. I'm really glad that I met Leon! I hope that our friendship will last long!
