There Is A Girl In A Tower [A Bandit's Girl Poem] by: Faerie_Writer

THERE IS A GIRL IN A TOWER

There is a Girl in a tower,

Who doesn't want to be saved,

For when her prince comes to get her,

He will make her his slave.

There is a Prince in another country,

Seeming kind a true,

But looks never make up,

For the people he slew.

There is another Prince in a castle,

Much closer to home,

But because he is prince,

He lives all alone.

There is a King and Queen in a court,

Putting on trial,

An innocent man,

Who they claim is faking denial.

There is a Warrior in a battle,

Old and frail,

A man who might never,

Live to tell his tale.

There is a Mother in a house,

On an old forgotten street,

And for her daughter trapped in a tower,

She can only weep.

There is a Bandit in a camp,

So far away,

Wishing that he might,

Be the hero someday.

There is a Girl in a tower,

Who shall one day be saved,

By a Bandit,

Who is:

Instructed by the Warrior,

And guided by the Mother.

Fought by one Prince,

And allied with the Other,

Hated by the King,

Adored by the Queen.

And when it comes to the Girl,

It's all feelings in between.

So there is a Girl in a tower,

Who will one day be saved,

By a Bandit,

Who shall be a hero that day.
