Intertwined

When everything seems to fade away

Know that I’m always here to stay

When all is falling apart

Believe that I will never depart

I will bring back what you have lost

Whatever it will cost

When I see the pain in your eyes

I feel like dying in torture of the sight

Inside those shed tears and cries

I’m always here to give your light

It hurts me deeply when you suffer

And I have nothing but my heart to offer

I would give my life as a sacrifice

And just to see you happy would suffice

And as you sleep tonight

Dream the sweetest dreams

For you are my only shining star that’s bright;

You light up the fire in my soul when you gleam

Before you came, my life was a dark sky

But shrouded with stars

You are the rising sun that I will never defy

You burned off my aching pains and scars

You gave me the reason to live again

You are the only one that’s touched my soul

With you my journey in a new life begins

I will protect you even if it takes the toll

Don’t be afraid, I’m here with you

Even if I’m far, I will go all the way through

Nothing can hurt you as long as you’re with me

Without you, where else would I be?

Let all your worries melt away

Remember that I will never go away

I’ll watch over you every night when you sleep
