HAPPY BONFIRE NIGHT!! :D

Chapter 9

I felt weird. My whole body felt different, my spine and my bones felt flexible and I had so much energy that I wanted to use,

“You look beautiful.” I snapped my head around looking for Jay, in all this wonder I’d forgotten about him. Instead of meeting his brown eyes about 6 ft off the ground they were a foot and a half above my head. He too had turned into a wolf; Jay had a brown fur and a silver stripe of fur across his side. I wanted to reply to him but all that came out of my wolf mouth was a short bark. Jay coughed out a wolfy laugh and then spoke,

“Speak through your mind and I’ll hear you.” I felt my eyes widening at that, it had been so long I’d forgotten I could do that! I tested it out in my head,

“Ice-cream and fishes, one, two, three!” Jay winced a bit,

“Not so loud, you’re practically shouting in my head.” Oops, I hadn’t realised,

“Sorry.” He moved closer to me and rubbed his muzzle against my neck,

“Do you want to go for a run, you can hardly stand still?” I grinned and shot off running, the feel of the crisp wind blowing my thick fur was refreshing and the feel of the squishy earth underneath my paws felt amazing.

We’d been running straight for about 20 minutes, when we go to a small stream. I hungrily lapped up the cold water.

“You’re really fast for a girl.” I turned to Jay and nudged him gently with my snout.

After spending a lot of time in the forest we headed back to his house, just before we got to the edge of the forest Jay shifted suddenly. I would’ve probably blushed at his nudeness if I was in human form; I ducked my head as he changed. Once he was decent he chucked his shirt at me and told me to change, I gave him a pointed look so he could look away.

Once again the familiar tingles went through my spine and bones and once more I was on two legs. I slipped his t-shirt on quickly and ran towards him, I jumped on his back

“Thank you for everything Jay.” I whispered into his ear, a light shiver ran through his muscled back,

“No problem.” he replied but I wasn’t able to reply because he took off running through the dense forest, in less than a minute we were in his bedroom thanks to his werewolf abilities. I slid down his back and started walking to the shower but he slid his arm around my waist creating an inescapable snare.

“Where do you think you’re going?” he gently placed kisses on my neck and brought me closer to his body,

“T-to take a shower.” My voice trembled to my embarrassment; his kisses burnt my skin in a good way leaving my skin warm. My heart rate sped up and my thoughts were being clouded with a fog,
