~~ Wednesday ~~
Caleb didn't pick me up this morning I thought he was sick or he overslept so I asked my uncle to drop me off. But ever since the guys and I went to the park last Saturday, the guys and I became pretty awkward. I feel like something is wrong. They don't even look at me. They dinner talk to me. They don't spend time with me during lunch break. I'm starting to think that we're no longer friends. Did it end? Am I no longer their Princess?
During dismissal, I caught them running towards the front door so that they can go home without me noticing. But, unfortunately their plan is a failure. I grabbed Bennett's backpack and he looked at me, as well as the other guys. They were surprised that I caught them and they started rubbing the back of their necks.
"So, why are you avoiding me? Are you hiding something from me?" I asked them as I glared at them. But silence filled the air. They weren't answering me and they weren't moving. Then I looked at Marco, I know that he will spit it out.
"So, Marco? What are your plans when you get home?" I asked him and he didn't answer me so I grabbed his ears and dragged him out of the school. I forced him to spit it out and all he said was "Sorry" and he ran away. I crossed my arms and tapped my right foot. Then I glared at the guys who were still standing in front of the front door. But when they saw me glaring at them, they immediately ran away. I tried contacting each one of them for a couple of times but they didn't answer. So, I started to think again that our friendship has now ended. I tried to hold my tears from falling. I rode the bus so that I can go home since Caleb didn't pick me up and also drive me home. It was a pretty boring and lonely trip. I had no one to talk to. I had no one to sing with. I hade no one to tease.
I got home and noticed that the lights were off. My aunt and uncle always leave the lights on so that it wouldn't be so dark at home. I had goosebumps as soon as I got off the bus. I went to the door and noticed that they left a note saying they'll go to a restaurant since they haven't dated for a long time. I went inside the house and turned on the lights. But when I turned the lights on, I jumped out because I surprised when I saw the guys inside the house. There were balloons floating. There were a lot of food and chips. There were sodas. And they were holding a cake and something is written on top of it. It says, "Thank you for being our princess, love FBPC"
A tear fell down from my eyes and then followed by a waterfall of tears. I didn't expect them to do such thing. I'm filled with joy right now. They made my day so bright even though it's already night. I felt to loved because of them. It's been years since I was surprised like this.
"Now we made her cry. I told you this wouldn't work. We shouldn't have avoided her" I heard Bennett whispered to the guys. I wanted to tell them that '~I'm crying because I'm happy that you didn't use me, break me or leave me~' but I failed to do so
"You know, you whisper loudly Bennett" I told him as I let out a chuckle. He really whispered loudly. He should have talked normally since they way he whispered is as loud as he normally talks.
"Sorry for avoiding you for a couple of days" Marco said as he rubbed the back of his neck. He didn't look me because he was quite scared when I glared at him so much when I dragged him outside the school.
"We were supposed to talk to you but we decided not to, so that we can really surprise you" Caleb looked at me and smiled. '~Well thanks for that, it hurts me so much. You left a scar in my heart~' that's what I wanted to say but I just said it to myself.
"That surprise was successful but you scared the shit out of me. Not with the surprise but the way you avoided me. I thought our friendship is over" I told them since it really did. I thought this is how my friendship with them will end. By completely avoiding each other without even telling me the reason why. "But, thanks for the effort. I love it" I looked and smiled at them. They made me so happy.
"Let's start-" Max wasn't able to finish his sentence since Austin cut him off "-Partying" Austin said and winked at Max who just glared at him. Austin and Max are the closest among the other guys. They grew up together since Marco's Mom and Austin's Dad got married when they were younger. They were sweethearts when they were younger but Austin's Dad had to move to a different city so they had to break up. They marries a different person but ended up having a divorce. They found each other when the boys were still 4. They followed their hearts and BOOM! They got married! Even though they're only half brothers, you can see that they're like real brothers by the way they act and tease each other.
When I was younger, I had so many wishes. And one wish came true this year. I wished that I will have friends who will hang out with me, laugh with me, cry with me and have fun with me. And I am really happy because that came true. But another wish came to my mind.. I wanted to have a brother, since it's nice to have someone like Austin or Marco or Bennett or Caleb or even Max. I wish I have one.
