Gonzo

the water crashed over my head as I gasped for air, the rip was pulling me out further and further and I couldn't hold my breath any more, this was it, I was going to die

every one I knew flashed into my mind, my parents, friends, family, I was going to lose them because I had been stupid and ignored the signs

water filled my mouth as I took my desperate breaths

then I took my last breath

I was dead

I woke with a gasp and sat straight up in bed

I was ok, I was alive

I felt arms wrap around me and a face appeared next to me

the face of my rescuer, troy quinlan

he had pulled me out the water and resuscitated me, his eyes were the first thing I saw after being brought back to life, not many girls can say there boyfriend had bought them back around from the dead.

" you ok?" he asked kissing your shoulder

" yeah, just the nightmare" you say turning your head to face him, he lay back down and you lay next to him, your head on his chest

" the one about the day we met?" he asked

" yeah the single worst and best day of my life so far" you say looking up and smiling at him before kissing him softly.

After he had revived you, you were taken to hospital for monitoring and when they had let you out the first thing you did was get a box of beer and some chocolates for the boys. It just so happened that when you went in Gonzo was on shift, he came flying up to you when you walked in and wrapped you in a massive hug. That was where he asked you out and 9 months later you were still happily together

he really was my lifesaver
