Almost two months later …

So the boys are almost done touring the Latin America and they never fail to call us whenever they can just to update us about everything. In less than two weeks, they will already start their Summer Tour in some states of America and only heaven knows how long it will take them there. The girls totally miss them, except Perrie who gets to see Zayn once in a while when she’s free.

There are a lot of ways for the girls to take their minds off the boys. Eleanor and I spend the most time together since our schedule does not really conflict. Danielle’s as equally as busy as Perrie. Despite that, I have established a quite amusing friendship with the two. If all of our free times do not conflict, all of us would actually do a lot of shopping and sleepovers. I am quite proud to say that Eleanor has become my soul-sister. She would often crash into my photoshoots and support my runway walk. I would sometimes visit and help her with her job at the Hollister’s as well. We’re just like two peas in a pod.

I am very much happy to have someone I can call friend here in London. Honestly, I never thought I would. Sometimes, models of the same agency would actually hate on one another. That lost me the chance of gaining one in my line of work, more so because I was a gypsy – I don’t have a permanent place to stay in. Somehow, I am really thankful that the Modest Management found me in that street and offered this very odd job to me.

Speak of the devil, Eleanor pops out on the screen of my phone while Nostalgia plays as its ringtone. I press the answer button and sound off to the mouthpiece, “El?”

“Hey, Val? Good Morning. What are you doing?” Eleanor speaks up from the other line.

“Nothing really. Just sitting on the couch and eating mango. You like?” I chuckle.

“No, thanks. Why don’t you get dressed? I’m going to pick you up now.” She suggests, her words are a bit rushed, might I say.

“What? Now? Why?” I wonder. El has never hurried me up like this before.

“Danielle called. I don’t think she’s okay.” She states, worry becomes more evident in her voice.

“Alright. I’m getting changed.”

“Kay.” She affirms and we both hung up. I run to the room and into the walk-in closet. I get changed immediately to the dress I first spotted, pull my hair up to a bun and dab a little foundation on my face.

The door buzzes after few minutes. That would be Eleanor waiting outside. I quickly slip into my flat shoes and walk out the room yelling, “Coming, El.”

I quickly walk towards the door and grab the house keys from the hook. I open the door and spot Eleanor pacing back and forth while rubbing her hands together in a slight frantic way.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” She stops from her previous motion when I ask worriedly while stepping outside. I lock the knob from the inside and close the door behind me.

“I don’t know. We just have to find out.” She grumbles.

We run towards her car, hop in, and fasten our seatbelts on. She then starts the engine, grabs the steering wheel and hits the gas.

**********

After I push the button of Danielle’s doorbell, Eleanor and I wait for few seconds before she could even answer and open the door.

A happy Danielle faces us as she’s revealed from the inside.
