Don't you wish...?

Chapter 3

Isabel

I seen him lean in and he kissed me. I gasped and said nothing.

'Sparks! Fireworks! Explosion! I can't believe the next alpha of this pack is my mate!'

'Which would make you alpha female.'

I gasped louder and pulled away.

"Are you okay?"

I sniffed the air and my wolf growled.

"Isabel...what is it?"

I growled and said "Rouges...southern side of the territory!"

I ran downstairs and I heard his father barking orders.

"All women and children in the safe room! Now!"

Before someone could grab me and stuff me in the safe room I ran out the door and ran in my human form to the southern side of our land. I ducked behind a shead when the rouges appeared from the woods.

'Nasty filthy things!'

I growled and waited to shift.

'Isabel!'

I blocked out his mind link and growled at the rouges. They stopped and sniffed the air. I used my mind reading powers to see what they were thinking.

'She's here somewhere. I can smell her.'

'Dude, check behind that shed!'

I growled and moved. I stayed in human form. I ducked behind the counter and said nothing.

"What's wrong?"

One of them ran at me and I used my powers to freeze him where he stood.

"How-?!"

I growled and said nothing.

"Shut up."

I sighed and said nothing.

I shifted into my wolf and the fight began.

'Don't be stupid.'

'Stupid? I don't think that word is in my vocabluary.'

I heard a yelp and I knew it was Luke. He had been badly hurt. I saw black and I knew my wolf took over. I don't know how long my wolf was taking control, but when I took control back I was taring the last rouge apart. I spit out fur and blood.

'They're dead! Just stop before you hurt yourself.'

I backed up and shifted back. I heard a loud growl and said nothing.

"Mine."

Luke wrapped his arms around my exposed body and looked down at me. His eyes got huge.

"What?"

He pulled me closer and said nothing.

"Luke what's wrong?"

He looked at me and said "I think you're perfect."

"Perfect?"

He nodded at me and smiled. I smiled back.

"Come on."

I was given clothes and put them on. I looked down at my arms and gasped.

"What is this about?"

"I don't know."

We saw the pack doctor running up to us with his med kit.

"Something tells us we're about to find out."

I nodded and he held me closer.

After every one was checked on we went back to the pack house. I sat back and relaxed into Luke's arms.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

He kissed my head.

"Come on."

The pack doctor came in and I said "You have news."

He looked at me and I jumped up.

"What are you talking about?"

Everyone looked at me and said "My wolf is way to different to let go. I have to know why."

The doctor looked at me and said "I ran your blood through the main wolf system."

"And?"

"Didn't find a match."

I growled and said "I can't believe it."

"But..."

I looked up at him and said "Yes?"

"I checked out the royal data base."

I looked at him.

"Yes?"

"I got a hit."

Luke, Avery, and my parents ran up to me. I gasped and said nothing.

"What is it?"

I sighed and said nothing.

"What's...?"

"So...Isabel is related to royalty."

I took the envalope and opened it. I read the results and said "I-I can't believe it."

"What?"

I dropped the paper and said "I'm not Isabel."

"What?"

"My name is Isadora."

"THE princess that went missing eight years ago?"

I nodded and said "I'm direct royalty."

My wolf showed up.

'Get answers. Now!'

People got loud and started talking all together. I held my head and said "Shut up!"

It got silent and said "How the hell did I get here?! I want answers now!"

I wanted to pass out and wake up to it being a dream.

'I don't think that's going to happen. Sorry Isadora.'

I groaned and Luke came and picked me up.

"It's been a long day. Let's get to bed."

Everyone nodded and we went to his room.

"Isabel..."

"Isadora. Might as well call me by my birth name."

He sighed and lay me down.

"Don't worry princess. It's going to be okay."

"Okay."

I lay down and closed my eyes.

"I'll be back okay?"

I grabbed Luke's hand and said "No. Don't leave me. Please?"

Luke laid next to me and held me close. I fell asleep in his arms.
