J: Can you quit it with the texts? I'm w/ Marls.
M: What R U guys doing? ;)
J: I SWEAR WE'RE NOT DOING THAT!!! We're just discussing song suggestions.
M: ...Why don't you and I do a duet?
J: Huh?
M: Oh, come on! Besides, I asked Ryd already. He said no. :((
J: Well, what R we gonna sing then?
M: Hey #3/Perfect For You (Reprise). Look it up. Practice. We'll meet up B4 school 2 practice.
J: No promises.

Well...Jake didn't show up that morning. Let's just say that he got a REALLY scary look from Melissa in Glee Club that afternoon. 

Once everyone was settled, Mr. Schue asked who was going up first. As always, Gabe shot his hand up (despite the fact that he wasn't even a STUDENT at McKinley), but so did Ryder.

"Ryder."

He got up and walked out of the room, coming back with a pole. He set it in the open area of the choir room before walking to the front. "I'd like to thank my brother for the inspiration to sing this," he spoke, looking directly at his older brother. Gabe gave him a thumbs up as the music started.

Ryder:

Gabe was the first one to stand up and clap for his brother. Slowly, everyone got up and cheered.
