I feel like my poems should be longer, I mean, now I'm counting them as one part each. They're not even one page. Wahahahahaha. Oh well... I'm not sure if this title suits the poem. Whatever. That's what I have it saved as on Word. When I first started writing this, I don't know what I was thinking about. But I'm learning about mythology in class so then I started thinking about Hades and Persephone. hehehe, except Hades is way more evil.
I'm talking too much- here's the actual poem!
........................................................................................................................................
Rain.
The quiet patters of the rhythmic raindrops falling one after another.
Everyone knows this sound.
Tears.
Slipping gracefully down and disguising themselves into the rainfall.
Falling drop by drop. A small pattern soon to be forgotten.
But quickly remembered when the time comes again.
I remember this pattern.
I remember it every year when she goes away.
I remember it every moment when she’s gone.
I remember it every day as I continue to live.
I remember it every time I think of her.
I remember it every moment someone mentions her.
I remember it when she comes back.
But then I forget the pattern.
Because I’m just glad she’s finally back.
