Percy Jackson meets the Avengers.

Chapter 17: Fight me.

Author's note: Hey guys long time no see.... ha... ha. But anyways, THE CHAPTERS FINALLY HERE! I'm SOOOOO sorry it took so long. but its been hectic lately. Also I have to do a lot of research to write these things. thank you guys for understanding! Oh and i reread chapter sixteen and i think i forgot to include that Captain America got a celestial bronze shield. i'll fix the chapter later. Anyways enjoy the chapter(:

Percy stood on the top floor of the helicarrier, waiting for his new teammates.

He had just given them new weapons and they needed to get used to them. But they were taking forever to come out.

Just when he thought they weren't going to come out and he would have to go looking for them, the door opened.

Captain America came out in his standard red, white, and blue suit. Except this time, he added a little gold to it. To match his now blue and gold shield with a white star in the middle.

Black widow came out with her dagger in her hand, walking in next to Hawkeye who had a bronze arrow pouch on his back.

Iron Man came out in a suit that looked brand new. It was bronze and red, and if possible, looked even cooler than before. Percy wondered how long it took him to fix that up.

Thor came in next, his once silver hammer a deep gold color. He came out smirking and spinning his hammer, enjoying its surprising lightness, considering it has another layer of gold on it.

"Hey, Hey, Hey!" Percy laughed. "You guys look upgraded. How's the suit Mr.Stark?"

"Ehh... I'd prefer my other suit." Iron Man said stubbornly.

Percy grinned. "What? You don't like it? Cause if you don't I can always give it back to Leo-"

"Hey." Stark made the suit open just at his face so the kid could see him smirk. "I never said I didn't like it."

Percy laughed and turned to Steve. "Looking good Captain."

"Feelin' good kid."

Percy nodded at Hawkeye and Blackwidow. "Hope the arrows and daggers are alright."

They both nodded.

'They don't speak to much.' Percy thought. 'Wonder why that is.'

Percy looked around for the last hero but couldn't find him. "Where's Bruce?"

Iron Man looked around as if just noticing he hasn't come out. The two Agents shrugged their shoulders.

"I-I'm right here!" Percy heard someone call from the stairs.

Percy turned to look and see Bruce struggling up the stairs with two large golden gloves.

Perseus sighed and crossed his arms. "Bruce! Don't you think the big green guys should be wearing those gloves?"

Bruce finally made it up the stairs and dropped the heavy gloves on the ground. "What? You want me to change into the other guy here? On the ship?"

"Uh, yeah." Iron Man answered in a mocking tone.

"Well hold on here. I don't think that such a good idea." Captain America interjected.

"Why not?" Black Widow answered a little to quickly.

Percy narrowed her eyes at the two agents. 'There is something going on between those two. You don't think...' He shook his head and pushed his those thoughts aside. 'Their on your team, why would they go against you? Then again. This is S.H.I.E.L.D.'

"Well Bruce if you don't want to get some training in then that's your decision. The rest of us should begin. We don't have time to waste." Percy said.

"What are we to train on Perseus?" Thor asked.

"Yeah, there's not exactly any monsters around to fight." Blackwidow added.

"Easy." Percy smirked. "You'll fight me."

"What is the status of the petty superheroes, Stheno?"

"They are all together on the top of the shhhhip, sssssir." Stheno answered.

"Yessssss, excccccept thisssss time they wear golden outfitssss. I musssssst ssssay they are quite niccccce." Euryale hissed.

"What?" The man looked up from his seat on the helicopter.

'So I see they've upped up their wardrobe.' He thought. 'Alas, they aren't the only ones who have upgraded.'

The man chuckled to himself as he said, "Let us show them who they are up against."

"Yessss, my Lord." The two Gorgon sisters said in unison.

"Fight you?" Thor barked out a laughed. "You are kidding, are you not?"

"Nope." Percy said.

"Come on kid. We don't want to hurt you." Captain America argued.

"Really?" Percy said smirking. "You think you could hurt me?"

In all honesty, Perseus didn't know if they could hurt him again or not. He just needed to get them angry, so he can fight them with their full power.

He wasn't just training them, but himself as well. They were a team and they knew how to work together. Percy didn't. Fighting them and learning all their powers will change that.

"Kid, we beat you last time don't we?" Hawkeye snorted.

Percy grimaced. He was starting to dislike Hawkeye, he seems cocky.

And he keeps calling him a kid.

Percy doesn't mind when Stark or Captain does it, they don't truly mean it. But he thinks Barton thinks of him as a nuisance. Or maybe Percy is taking this personal just because he dislikes the agents.

"Lucky shot." Percy shrugged.

"Perseus, we wish not to fight you. We do not want to cause harm to you or the ship." Thor finalized.

Percy grinned. "You guys really think you can beat me. Fine then, if you wont fight me, i'll just fight you." Reached in his pocket and took out a pen, uncapping it, turning it into a celestial bronze sword.

Iron Man sighed. "You're a stubborn kid. Look-"

He didn't even have time to finish as Percy launched at him, throwing his sword with all his might.

"My Lord, are they fighting themssssselvessss?"

The man turned his head to see what the snake women spoke off.

The man smirked to himself. 'Some team they turn to be. They'll kill each other before I have the chance.'

"The funny thing issss, the kid isssss winning." Euryale hissed.

"No, the other team isss." Her sister fought.

"Ha! Just look at them! The kid-" As the two sisters bickered about which team was winning, the man smiled and said the two words that made the
sisters hush.

"It's time."

Yesss, my lord."

Author's note: I know I promised a longer chapter, but if I continued writing this chapter would be like give pages long. And you guys would have to wait even longer for this chapter! Thank you guys so much for your patience and I promise it won't take as long to write the next chapter!
