Chapter Three

I stared at the cheeky boy.

The gorgeous, cheeky boy.

'I can still hear you.' his voice snickered.

"Would you stop that?" I hissed accidentally out loud.

"Stop what?" Roxy asked, curiously.

"Oh, S-Scorpius is kicking my leg." I lied.

'Nice save, Potter.' Scorpius sighed in my mind.

"Umm.. Okay." Roxy said awkwardly as she started talking to Albus.

"Hey look, what's that?" I asked, looking at an abnormally large castle out the window.

"Welcome to Hogwarts Lily." Scorpius grinned as we all started walking out of the compartments.

"It's beautiful." I whispered, mostly to myself.

"That's what I said when I first got here." said a familiar voice behind me.

I turned around to see my cousins, Hugo and Rose Weasley.

"Hugo! Rose!" I squealed.

"Remember four years ago, when we were ten? And we wanted to go to Hogwarts? And then you got accepted to go to that fancy French school?" Hugo blabbed off.

"And when Hugo cried like a girl?" Rose added smirking.

"Yeah, I remember that!" I laughed.

"I missed you guys!" I grinned widely at my two cousins.

"I hope you'll be in my house." Hugo grinned.

"Don't bother, shell be in our house... Like the rest of the family." Rose laughed.

"What house are you in Hugo?" I asked.

"I'm a Hufflepuff." he grinned.

"That explains a lot." I chuckled, while Hugo watched me, confused but shrugged it off.

"Bet you a galleon that that she's gonna be a Gryffindor." I heard Albus say.

"Deal, galleon on Ravenclaw." Scorpius smirked.

"You're on, Malfoy." Albus chuckled.

"Blimey, I've been looking for you guys everywhere." came a turquoise haired boy with yellow eyes.

"Teddy!" I yelled as I gave the boy a hug.

"What are you doing here, Lily?" Teddy asked while we started walking again.

"I was transferred." I stated.

"Prank?"

"Always!" I smirked.

"Two on Slytherin." Hugo said randomly.

"What?" we all asked in unison.

"I think Lily will become a Slytherin. And I wanted to join Scorp and Al's bet." he answered.

"Deal!" Scorpius and Albus said together.

"Why are you guys betting on me anyways?" I asked.

"Because we think each other are wrong." Scorpius answered.

'Der.' he added in my head while I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Look, there's the carriages!" Teddy called out while we all looked out the nearest window.

"Let's go!" Albus grinned.

"Yeah, we don't want Lily to miss the welcoming feast and the sorting." Scorpius grinned.

Is that when I get sorted.

'Yep, and when we all find out who won our bet.' Scorpius said in my mind.

I glanced ore at Scorpius, who was watching me and grinning.

'Cheeky boy.' I thought, smirking.

'That I am, Lily... That I am.' he answered.

"Come on Lily and Scorp!" Roxy called.

"Coming!" we both answered.

We both ran over to where all my big family was.

We got off the train to see these big carriages.

"Are those the carriages with that mum and dad were talking about, the ones with the skeletal horse thingies?" I asked Albus, once we caught up to him.

"Yeah." he answered.

"Then why can't I see them?" I asked stubbornly.

"Because, only those who have seen death, can see them." Hugo answered.

'Lovely.' I thought curtly in my mind.

Scorpius, Albus, Roxy and I all hopped into a nearby carriage.

The whole ride was silent except the occasional giggle, from the odd silence.

Once we got to the castle James came and dragged me off somewhere.

"James where are you taking me?" I growled.

"Being headboy, I'm taking you to Professor McGonagal." he answered.

'Grrrr...' I thought.

'Lily, where did you go?' Scorpius asked inside my head.

'My git of a brother is dragging me to a "Professor McGonagal." I thought dully.

'Probably to get you sorted with the first years.' he answered with a hint of giddiness.

'Curse you.' I hiss internally.

"Thank you Mr. Potter." an old cracking voice said, pulling me out of the conversation.

"Now, Ms. Potter ou are going to be sorted with the first years." she stated.

'You were right." I thought.

'Always am.' Scorpius answered cheekily.

"Ms. Potter?" the professor asked.

"Yes, professor?" I answered.

"Oh, I thought your mind dawdled off." she mumbled.

"Oh, it did." I answered with a big grin.

Then she looked at me like I was crazy before leading us in to this really big room with lots of kids and four tables.

She pulled out this really old looking hat and a stool and started calling out names.

Until.. She finally came to mine.

"Potter, Lily!"
