Marco:

Gods, monsters and warrior teens, I’m loving life. While we were in the air we were allowed to take off are harnesses and relax. All the others were talking to themselves, I couldn't make out most of the conversations but I didn't care, I was so tired from the lion and all that running, I stretch my neck and my arms out to relax. I look closely at everyone onboard, Luke had straight light blonde hair, blue eyes, light skin and he looked really hansom, I felt a bit jealous so I looked away from his face. He was about average height for a teenager but had a muscular build of a full grown man, but how old was he? He was talking to Zethos who was sitting on the other row facing directly at Luke, Zethos had thick dark black hair and green eyes, olive tanned skin, a scar going down his left cheek like someone or something had cut him. The scar made him look tough but apart from the scare he looked quite gentle, he too was average height and built like a grown man but I couldn't work out their age. I look at the others, blonde with brown eyes, brown with brown eyes, black with brown eyes. They all seamed the same, faces of teenagers but bodies of full grown men. Even the girl on the end of the other row looked stunning. Long, straight black hair all the way down to her back, big brown eyes and light brown skin tone. Not really that tall, looks like 5\'4\" but she had bigger muscles than Luke. The only difference other than that she was a girl was that she carried a bow, not a sword. She had a shield and spear like the others but not a sword. I turn to look at Jono so that it doesn’t look like I’m staring at her, Jono had not taken his helmet off yet. He stretched his fingers and then looks at me. "Marco, while we are here I might as well tell you where we are going." I got a bit nervous but listened as he continued "Look at all the bloodlings you see here, they all at one stage felt like you do now, a new bloodling at a new school." New school, what new school? I never went to my normal school much anyway. Jono seemed to miss the look on my face because he kept going. "Here at this new school you will learn many things, one is what you are already used to, you know the subjects like maths, science, languages and so forth. The other things will be more ......let’s say battle oriented", "the skills you learn from both will allow you to survive the missions and journeys you will surly undertake." I like the sound of the second one but I hated the first. I guess this god stuff has its ups and downs. "Is there anything you would like to ask me about what you saw while we were fighting the satyrs?" Jono asked. "Yes" I reply, "what are satyrs and that other monster you named, ....the... Niemen Lion I think you said". Jono looked almost relived that I had asked that Question, I wonder what else he is thinking. "Satyrs are Monsters, half human from the waist up and horns on their head and half goat from the waist down, they normally are quite passive creatures but today it seemed that it wasn't the case.", "they attack mainly with clubs, axes and swords and come at you with big numbers because that aren’t that great at fighting, as for the Niemen Lion you not only saw one you killed one yourself". "Wait" I say "I never killed it, I was running from it, it was about to get me, what are you talking about." I looked at him to see if he is joking, but it doesn’t look like it. "When you had the serge, all that raw power just exploded out of you and basically killed the Lion, normally a serge that powerful would kill the person going through it, you are really lucky". That had explained the mound of ash I saw when I woke up, and the pain in my stomach and leg. I guess that I am lucky after all. As I take that all in, Jono reaches to his helmet, I hold my breath trying to imagine how he would look. He slowly pulled the helmet off of his head and what I saw shocked me. Jono was the only person that was an adult in this chariot. An old man with brown wrinkly skin. A bold head and had white bushy eye brows, everything about him looked old and frail except for his sparkling blue eyes. I know that sounds weird but it is true, those eyes seamed wise and full of energy. Eyes that had seen it all, and had experienced everything. Those watchful, alert eyes made him look twenty years younger. He sat down back into his seat, closed his eyes and went to sleep. I tried to do the same but I couldn't fall asleep, I was just too excited.
