This chapter is about the popular Meme in the Hetalia Fandom called Cardverse, and/or Cardtalia, that was originally designed by Hidekaz Himaruya himself.
Cardverse/Cardtalia is an AU (alternate universe) version of Hetalia where the main characters are divided into different kingdoms, which are ruled by a king and queen, along with a jack. It was created when Himaruya released the official character designs for Cardverse in poker-chip style art, and divided the characters between four kingdoms (three to each) with specific positions/ranks for each person in each kingdom, between King, Queen, and Jack. There are also two extra positions, the Jokers, which are occupied by Prussia and Sealand.
Although Himaruya is the original creator, it was the fandom that took it to the next level by adding details, writing fanfiction, and creating fan art, etc. This is why it's good to know what exactly is the official canon information, and what's fanon (fandom created/accepted).
The two main and most popular fanon details that were added to Cardverse is that there are set relations between the kingdoms, and that the kings and queens are born with special marks on their bodies.
