As I sat in the Pack Doctor’s office she looked at me “ That wasn’t a poison Alpha it was a sugar pill I'm sure, seems like he swallowed the pill meant for you, and you the pill meant for him based on the toxicity level in his system at the time of death “Now all you have to do is keep your shoulder in that sling and you’re perfectly fine”
I sigh relieved I wouldn’t be making a widow out of Abigail anytime soon , oh well guess she’s stuck with me for the rest of her life we no longer had to worry about some raging lunatic and we could focus on our family
(Three months later )
“Xander I swear to God I'm going to castrate you!” she cried grabbing tightly onto my hand as a contraction rocked her “ I'm never going to sleep with you ever again!”
I chuckle wiping sweat from her forehead “ Fine two is enough for me”
“It better be” She hissed squeezing the hell out of my hand
“Come on Ab you can do this”
She pushed once and a baby began to cry out in the once silent room The Pack Doctor Smiled “you have a boy” she handed me the little bundle and sapphire eyes stared at me in a way I knew he was going to be a handful
“ Hey kid” I whisper as he touched my nose
“Xander! If you don’t put that baby down and suffer with me!”
I gave him back to the doctor and Abi pushed once more and another softer cry filled the air “Another boy”
When she handed me this one innocent hazels gazed back at me reaching for my pinky” What’s up little man”
I sat at her side where she held the other twin “They’re beautiful” she whispered “I want to name him Ethan” Ethan smiled “You like that huh little man?”
“Hmmm lets name him Elliot”
“Hazel eyes is Elliot, Sapphire eyes is Ethan”
“ I wonder who they’ll take after?”
“ Hopefully not you”
Either way as long as my family was happy I could be at ease with however my kids turned out
