Summer Love ~

•Chapter 12•

When I got inside I was instantly bombarded by questions by Bo, she wanted to know every detail that had happened and I didn’t have another choice other than that to tell her everything.

She was surprised when I told her that the paparazzi had took photos of me with Niall. I couldn’t help but feel a little worried about where those photos where going to end up and what the fans will think. Speaking of the fans, they had become a little used to me now so I didn’t get as many hate messages as I used to on twitter and I was so thankful for that.

Bo and I had been having a cup of steaming hot chocolate with marshmallows as I was giving her all the answers to my questions when I found out something new about her.

‘’I had so much fun today with Peter, we spent the whole day together in the most beautiful park I have ever been to and then he took me to this small old coffee shop that I didn’t know that even existed and they had the most delicious tea there. I should take you there sometime..’’ Bo rambled on and on about her day and this Peter guy after she had got all the information she needed from me.

She seemed a little obsessed with Peter because she couldn’t stop talking about him. I just sat on the sofa sipping my tea and listening to her. There was no doubt that she liked him, a lot. Could he be her new boyfriend.

It was good to know that there was someone that sounded nice that Bo liked because her ex boyfriend from two years had been one of the most horrible people on earth.

He used to abuse Bo and I couldn’t go through that again, it had pained be so much when she told me what he was doing to her and knowing that I couldn’t do anything to help. Thankfully after about two weeks that he had started abusing her he was arrested and sent to jail for being a drug dealer and murdering a person, and that was the last time that we had heard from him.

‘’So when did you meet Peter?’’ I asked her, it was my turn to ask the questions now.

‘’I met him about 2 weeks ago when I had gone shopping, we bumped into each other and we kept seeing each other since that day. I know it sounds cliché but I swear that is how we met’’ She told me.

‘’Why didn’t you tell me Bo?’’ I asked her. I had told her immediately when I had met Niall and I was expecting that she would do the same.

‘’I didn’t tell you because, I don’t know why. It’s just that I wanted to keep him as my little secret, I didn’t want him to fall in love with you the first time that he saw you.’’ She told me in a playful tone.

‘’Bo what are you talking about. You are a model for God’s sake and besides that you aren’t some dumb bimbo. You are smart, funny and an amazing friend to have! If Peter doesn’t like you then there must definitely be something wrong with him.’’ I assured her.

‘’It’s just that since Mark I have been afraid of falling in love and trusting another guy, I’m afraid that I will go through all that again.’’ She told me.

‘’Bo I know that it’s hard but you have to move on, it has been 2 years since you have gone out with someone, just give Peter a try he sounds like a really nice guy. Don’t rush things and everything will be fine, trust me.’’ I told her.

I glanced at the clock and noticed that it was 1 in the morning.

‘’Shoot! I have to go to bed Bo because I have work tomorrow, just follow your heart and I am always here if you want someone to talk to goodnight’’ I told her as I kissed her goodnight on her head.

‘’Goodnight Darcy and thanks for everything, you are a great friend’’ She said. As I had reached my bedroom door I suddenly remembered something that I had to ask Bo.

‘’Bo next Saturday I am going to meet Niall’s friends and he invited you to come as well if you want’’ I told her. I hope that she would accept the invitation because I was a little shy and awkward when I met new people.

‘’Thank for inviting me Darc but I can’t come, I have a ‘’date’’ with Peter that day, I’m sorry.’’ She told me in a sad tone.

‘’That’s Ok Bo don’t worry about it, have fun with Peter and I want to know every single thing that happens between you two from now on’’ I mocked her.

‘’Go to bed Darcy you are clearly tired’’ She told me and I could see that she was blushing, she was so sweet!

As I got changed into my pajamas and got into bed I couldn’t stop myself from smiling. That day had been truly amazing, I had spent in with Niall, went to a Jessie J concert and bonded with Bo.

I had to admit that I wasn’t looking forward for the next day though because I had to face Sam and I didn’t know what I was going to say or do…

Tuesday, it had never been my favourite day of the week and today wasn't going to change that.

I woke up and went through my morning routine, after I was finished I grabbed my bag and started to make my way towards the building where I worked.

I stopped at Starbucks to grab my boss's usual coffee order, a cafe Americano. As Hannah was preparing my order I couldn't help but wonder about the first time that I had met Niall at the very same place. So much had changed since then, who would have thought that borrowing some money from a total stranger would lead to something more.

My order was soon finished, as much as I would have liked to stay and chat with Hannah I had to leave because I was going to be late for work if I didn't hurry up.

I arrived at work in about 7 minutes and as usual I went up to my boss's office to give her her Americano.

I was expecting to find her in her usual angry and busy mood, but that day I found her in a mood that i had never seen her before, she smiling and cheerful. I couldn't help but notice that when she smiled she actually looked pretty.

When she noticed me she made a gesture with her hand to walk towards her and I obeyed her.

''Thank you for the coffee sweetheart, I really like your shirt'' She told me with a grin. I glanced down at my shirt and saw that it was a floral black sweater, there was nothing special about it.

''You're welcome and thanks'' I told her shyly, I couldn't help but feel a little self conscious.

''Darcy I would like to tell you that I am getting married in two months and I would like to invite you to my wedding, I hope that you can make it'' She told me as she handed me an expensive looking envelope decorated with dark blue silk and pearls.

So that was the reason why she was so happy, she was getting married. We had never been close to each other so I was surprised that she was inviting me to her special day.

''Thank you so much ma'am, I will make sure that I will make it to your wedding and congratulations!'' I told her with a smile on my face.

''Oh thank you darling, now go and get started we don't want to waste anytime'' She said.

''Of course not, thank you and congratulations once again'' I told her as I made my way towards her black office door.

As I was making my way towards Sam's studio my heart was thumping faster than usual and I was so nervous. I knew that there was nothing that I should be worried about but I couldn't help feel anxious.

When I entered the studio I saw that he was setting up the lightings and when he heard the door close behind me he turned to see who had joined him. When he saw that it was me he gave me a smile, but it didn't look like his usual sincere smile.

''It's nice to see you Darcy''He told me as he slowly started to make his way towards me.
