Wolld shouted in protest and then cursed loudly as he made contact with the water. He gave in and let his body go limp. A sense of relief spread through his veigns. The invisible bees were goneand he could think more clearly. The cold water soaked through his bandage and numbed thedeep gash in the side. I soaked through his pants and flowed over the burns on his legs. The water gave him new life. He gave a sigh of contentment, then dunked his head under. As he floated he drank in huge gulps. The water went down his aching throat smoothly like silk, and left behind a fresh residue.
When he came up for air, he saw Fied kneeling by the bank, bending over him with an anxious look on her face.
"When you went all limp I thought you had died!" She had tears in her eyes.
"I'm fine Fied." Wolld looked into his little sister's eyes and recognized the little girl she once was. "I feel more alive then ever!" Cecillia clucked her tounge and said something like 'I told you so', but Wolld didn't hear her.
