I've been noticing people have been confused with the vampires in my story. I'll gladly explain, if I have not explained everything please, by all means, ask questions, i'll answer them. Don't be shy.
To become a vampire you have to be bitten by one and you can't be drained completely.
To die from a vamp you have to be drained completely. It will not kill the vampire, I cannot understand why in some stories if you drain someone they die. It makes no sense whatsoever.
Vampires can eat regular food, it will not bother them. It just doesn't fill them.
Crosses don't bother them.
Stakes can't kill them. They're dead, so they don't really have a heartbeat. They can make it seem like it though.
They can't fly.
They can run/walk very fast though.
They don't have to be invited in.
I hope this cleared up some confussions you readers may have about vampires.
