Karlies pov
We had just arrived at this gorgeous Italian restaurant and our waiter led us to a table at the back sort of secluded from everyone.
I scan through the menu and settle on having a pasta dish.
"Hey babe, what are you thinking of having" I ask taylor
You see me and Taylor haven't told Ada that we are together but we're not purposely hiding it either if you can understand what I'm saying.
"I think I'm just gonna get a BBQ pizza" she says looking up at me
"How bout you Ada?" I ask
She shrugs " I don't know, I'm not that hungry" she says looking away from me
I knew she was lying I could tell. I had been her age once going through what she's going through now. I just needed a way to talk to her with out taylor being around.
As if being able to read my mind taylor excuses her self to go to the bathroom. I take the chance to talk to Ada
"Hey sweetie why don't you come sit round here beside me" I say since we were sat in a booth
She slowly scoots round until she's sat at my side
"I know your lying" I say softly as I grab hold of her hand, at this she looks down, her light brown her cascading over her face.
"I can't do it aunt Karlie" she whispers
"Sure you can kiddo slowly but surely baby steps okay. Me and your sister are always here for you and we are going to help you through this every step of the way, now how about you order a small pizza yea, and it's doesn't matter if you don't finish as long as you try" I say
She nods as taylor comes back and slides into the booth.
"Have you decided what you want Ada?" She asks
Ada gives a small nod before saying "a plain small pizza"
Taylor smiles as the waiter comes and we order
"I'm full" Ada says as she's nearly eaten half of her pizza
"Just finish up to half" taylor tries to bargain
Ada shakes her head
"Hey if you finish up to half then you don't need to get desert" I smile at her hoping this would change her mind
She grumbles and grabs hold of another slice bringing it up to her mouth
"Good job" I say and continue to eat my food
A few minutes later Ada announces that she is done.
Which both me and Taylor agree that she's done well.
"I need to go to the bathroom" Ada states as she gets up from her place
"Not so fast" Taylor gently grabs hold of her arm and sits her back down
"Please" Ada whispers
"Princess I know what you are going to do in the bathroom, you're strong enough not to" Taylor says gently kissing her head
Taylor's pov
"Please sissy I can't" Ada pleads tears glistening her eyes
I pull her into my lap since I am finished with my food as she buries her head into my chest. I feel a hot tear hit my skin as Ada takes in a shaky breath.
"It's okay Ada you're so strong you can do it okay shhh it's okay I've got you" I try and sooth
We managed to finish our meal and get in the car without Ada going to the bathroom which was slow progress but good progress.
As soon as we walked through the door Ada tried to make a mad dash to the bathroom but Karlie caught up to her and lifted her up.
"Put me down" she screamed tears following out of her eyes
I took her off Karlie and sat with her on my lap on the couch.
She continued to scream and thrash about
"Ada Ada, shh it's okay listen to me" I say raising my voice a little, she calmed down as was now only whimpering
"Why don't we all cuddle up and watch a film yea?" I ask just to get her mind off of things
She nods as Karlie puts on the lion king and grabs a blanket for us to cuddle under.
Half way through the film Ada was sound asleep on my lap with her legs stretched into karlies. In that moment that's when I knew that we were SAVING ADA
