Saving Ada

Chapter 8

Taylor's pov

I slowly walked into my room and shut the door quietly behind me, as Ada was still asleep. I gently climbed onto the bed beside her so I was facing her and rested my head against my hand as I propped my self up on the pillow.

"Ada sweetie, it's time to get up" I coo as I gently tuck a lose strand behind her ear

She groans and moves closer to me so she's cuddling against my chest.

I giggle " come on honey it's already 10"

She scrunched her hands into fists and rubs the sleep out of her eyes

"There you go" I say placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"Come on let's go down stairs me and Karlie want to speak to you" I say getting up from the bed

She nods and slowly follows me downstairs as she sits in between me and Karlie on the couch.

She sighs and plays with her hands looking down at her lap.

"How long have you been doing this sweetie" I ask calmly as I look at Karlie for approval as she nods

Ada shrugs as she whispers "a year maybe a little less"

"Why?" I ask softly

She shrugs as a tear lands on her lap and she is quick to wipe the rest away.

I warp my arm around her and pull her into my side

"I want you to give me your blades" I tell her as she stiffens in my grip "all of them"

She shakes her head and hides into my shoulder. 

" hey me and Karlie are going to help you okay and to do that we need your blades, don't get upset sweetie we're just going to help you" I say as I rub her back

She nods and stands up to go get them. Me and Karlie follow her and sit on her bed as she pulls them out from many different places before handing them to Karlie.

"Is that all of them" I say pulling her to sit on my lap

She nods against my chest as I kiss her head.

"I'm so proud of you for doing this baby girl" I say holding her tight as Karlie leaves to flush them down the toilet.

Karlie comes back and sits next to me as I hold Ada on my lap.

"What do you want to do today then?" I ask as it was still early

Ada and Karlie both shrug

"How bout we go out for lunch and then come back and watch some movies" I wonder

Ada nods against my chest  as Karlie replies " that sounds perfect"

"Okay well I'm gonna start getting ready considering it's already 12 im gonna go have a shower" I say as I sit Ada on the bed and stand up

"Tay" Ada speaks up

"Mhmm" I respond

"Can I have a nap whilst you shower and then could you wake me when I need to change" she yawns

I giggle and nod as she lays in her bed and me a Karlie leave to get ready.

"Did I do good" I ask Karlie once were back in my room 

"You did great" she says kissing my head

I nod " I'm gonna head to the shower" I say grabbing my things

"Can I join you" Karlie says smoothly

"Karlie!" I gasp

"What" she said innocently wrapping her hands round my waist

"Ada is taking a nap and we will save water" she says as she begins to kiss my neck

"That does sound nice" I moan

"You ready to go Ada" I call up the stairs

"Can you do my hair I can't do it" she yells back down

I go up stairs and into her room as I tie her hair up quickly before walking hand in hand with her back down stairs.

"Let's go" I say grabbing the car keys and heading out of the apartment

We get to the lobby and I look out to see a few paparazzi.

" they must've seen photos from when we got in" I sigh

"It's okay Tay don't worry it's fine" Karlie says sweetly

"Just hold my hand Ada and will be in the car before you know it" I say taking her hand and giving it a squeeze

We exit the lobby and flashes begin to go off with random people shouting random things at us.

Once we get into the car I give my driver the address to the restaurant and were off.

"You okay Ada" I ask as i place my hand on her knee

"Yeah" she smiles up at me

Once we arrive at the restaurant we are seated in a small both at the back sort of secluded from everyone.
