New story 3
Taylor's pov
"Ada you ready, we need to leave" I call up the stairs
"Two minutes" she calls back sounding annoyed at something.
I go upstairs to see what's taking her so long.
"I can't do it" she whines
As tears cloud in her eyes for the second time today.
I sit on the bed "here sit between my legs I'll do it quickly" I say as I grab the brush
I brush her hair and tie it up quickly as I stand up and offer her a hand. "No tears okay" I tell her
As she nods
"Let's go" I say as I grab my phone keys and purse before leaving the house and locking the door. We both get into the car and I begin to drive to the radio station.
"Okay babes, when we get there, there are going to be paps because they know we are coming, just hold my hand and I'll give you my sunglasses okay they won't hurt you I promise" I warn her
She nods but I can see the fear in her eyes.
We get there and I park the car. Already paps begin to surround us.
"Here wear these okay and stay in the car I'll come round for you." I tell her handing her my sunglasses
"Taylor" she says quietly looking at me
"Hmm" I respond as I put my phone and keys in my bag
"I'm scared" she confesses
"There's nothing to be scared I'll be with you the whole time" I say "I'll come get you" I say as I open the car door and step out
Instantly the flashes go off like mad and I know Ada will be scared I just hope I can avoid a panic attack.
I head round the car and open the door to see Ada ready with my sunglasses on. I smile as I reach for her hand and help her out of the car as I lock it. The paps see Ada and begin to shout questions all at once creating heaps of noise.
Ada's grip on my hand tightens and I notice her knuckles turning white.
"Come on where nearly there" I whisper into her ear
I feel her shake her head and she stops walking. I tug her arm but she stays put. At this the paps begin to crowd more and I have no choice but to pick her up. She wraps her arms round my neck tightly and her feet round my waist, whilst hiding her head in my neck. I take the last few steps and enter the building. Once in the building I try and put Ada down but she wouldn't let me.
"Ada sweetie where inside its okay" I try to convince her "you're just a little shaken up but it's okay I'm here come on" I say and this time I put her down and she takes her sunglasses off and hands them to me.
I pop them into my bag "you okay now" I ask Ada
She takes a shaky breathe as if she was about to speak but nods instead. I raise my eyebrow at her but instead she just hugs me. I sigh and hug her back before crouching down to her level since I'm so tall and I'm wearing heels.
"Sweetie if you don't feel okay you can tell me alright" I say as I grab hold of her hands
She nods as tears cloud in her eyes. I sigh "it's just not your day is it?" I ask as I pull her into my chest
She shakes her head no
"Maybe you're coming down with something" I wonder
She shrugs as she pulls away and wipes her tears.
"Okay it's time to go in, here I'll give you my phone and you can play on it or whatever they shouldn't ask you any questions if they do just answer them politely okay" I say kissing her head and standing back up.
She nods and I pass her my phone and grab hold of her hand rubbing smooth circles with the pad of my thumb onto the back of her hand.
We walk into the room.
Everybody greets us as we enter the room Ada remains quite saying a few hushed hellos before we settle down into our seats.
"Well good morning miss Taylor Swift" James says I to the microphone
"Morning" I reply cheerfully
"I see you've brought someone with you today why don't you tell the listeners who you've bought" he asks
"My little sister Ada's here, you wanna say hi real quick" I ask her
"Hi" she says with a fake smile and then resumes to playing with my phone
Halfway through the interview James offers us some cookies I take one and had one to Ada
"These are real good" I say after taking a bite
I look at Ada who's eaten half a cookie already and I smile at her. Not long after Ada begins to cough badly
I begin to get worried and rub her back.
"Here have a bit of my water" I say handing her my cup
She shakes her head and points to her throat then the cookie then making a stabbing gesture to her thigh.
I join the dots and frantically open my bag in search for her epipen "do these cookies contain any sort of nuts by any chance" I ask worriedly as I find the epipen
"Umm yes almonds" James replies nervously
I open the epipen and rise her skirt a little bit before injecting her thigh.
"Can you call 911" I say hurriedly to James who immediately calls them
"It's okay baby, I've got you, I've got you" I say to Ada pulling her onto my lap
She continues to cough
"It should kick in now, you're gonna be okay" I say to her whilst rubbing her back. "Do you think you need the second one?"
She nods whilst coughing and trying to catch air
I get the second one and once again lift her skirt up so I can inject her thigh.
Seconds later the ambulance is here and they rush us into the ambulance and off to the hospital.
