That girl with the broken stare, the broken smile,

Whose only wish was for you to stay awhile,

Is now a bird, flying free,

From the confines of monotony.

All those days wasted on your heart,

Was nought but a waste of her heart.

For though she yearnt for your love,

You never did make her laugh.

And so now she's learnt to keep her heart,

For someone who can play the part.

She who thought her heart was safe,

Has yet to find that that's not the case.

She'll fall long and hard for someone,

The one who, her heart, he'd won.

And so she'll find herself in love,

Which was something undreamed of.

She'll find herself learning,

The beautiful and true meaning,

Of what it's like to love and be loved
