Ace enjoys her Sunday. She didn't think about the incident with Josh. Or running into Tyler. She just sat there and enjoyed watching Netflix. Ace is in her own fantasy. Around ten later that night Ace goes to bed.
Ace wakes up to an ear piercing scream at 3 A.M. She races into the kitchen in enough time to see a guy jumping out of a window. Ace looks down to see Alex crying. She thought Alex hasn't cried since he was seven years old. Then she realizes that her mother had just gotten off of her shift and sees her cold lifeless body on the floor with blood flowing out of a bullet hole in her chest. Ace drops to her knees and begins bawling. In moments there is a big puddle of blood surrounding her mother.
Ace gains enough control to call the police as she grasps reality with her fingertips just barely holding on to her sanity.
Brinnnnnnggg........ Brinnnnnnggg......... " Hello 911, what's your emergency?" Ace stutters " M-my my m-m-mum was sh-shot," "Okay help is on its way," the lady said before the line went silent.
Before Ace knew it she was is the police station giving her statement.
ACE, AND ALEX ARE OUT OF SCHOOL FOR 2 WEEKS BEFORE THEY RETURN.
