After I hugged the rest of O2L... I still can't rap my head around how I met them! I have no idea how andrea is like so chill with these people like Oh my god!
"You guys wanna come in for a bit?" Connor asked us.
"Uhhh cant Connor.. sorry man but Claire and I have plans." Jack said a little too proudly...
"Oh that's fine! Have fun you two!" Connor said followed by the rest of the people.
"Jack... you haven't seen these people in 5 years! And you tell them off?!" I asked.
"Well yeah, for you."
"Oh..." I giggled.
We leaned closer. Forgetting that the boys and Andrea were watching. Closer, closer, closer, we kissed. I am kissing Jack right now. KISSING JACK RIGHT NOW?!?!?!?! We kissed for about 10 seconds. The best kiss I have ever had.
"Guys!!! GIVE THEM SOME PRIVACY!" Andrea said as she led them into the house
After we kissed.. It was really awkward because the conversation kind of went like this: Sooo Sooo Sooo back and forth.
"Sooo..." Jack said breaking the silence.
"soo.. umm.. I have a question... WAIT never mind."
"Oh ok"
"yeah"
"we are here!"
"Yay!"
We unpacked everything from the picnic basket and we layed the blanket on the soft green grass.
***********30 mins later after we layed out everything and made or sandwiches*************
"These are really good!" I said eating the sandwich.
"Yeah they are."
I got a text from jack...? I looked at it. The text read:
From Jack:
"since I cant say this to your face... I really like you Claire."
I died inside but I decided to sow no emotion to the text. I texted back:
"Really? Because I really like you too (:"
Jack smiled and he said," That's good." He laughed "I need some music."
Jack turned on his phone and scrolled down. The music played and I recognized it right away. Summer Love by One Direction. But this is what surprised me.. he started humming to the music... but then he began to sing "Cant believe your packing your bags trying so hard not to cry"
I continued the next line "Had the best time, now it's the worst time but we have to say goodbye"
We sang until the song ended. This is the perfect day... but then it gets better. Jack suggests for a game of tag.
"Sure! But.. your IT!" is said as I tagged him.
"Oh its ON!"
I giggled. I couldn't see him anywhere I looked around. No Jack. I kept looking. Then I felt someone pick me up from behind. Jack (: He twirled me around and then gave me a piggyback ride. I kept laughing and telling him to put me down but he refused. He is like really really strong! Because... like im heavy.. but hes like running with me! This is the perfect day!!!!!! As soon as Jack sets me down.. it starts to rain.
"May I have this dance?" Jack asked extending his hand towards me.
"Why certainly!" I giggled and we got up and danced in the rain. This sort of reminded me of High School Musical 2 when the sprinklers turned on and Troy and Gabriella danced. We started slow dancing and I put my head on his shoulder and he put his hands on my waist. Perfect.
"I love you" Jack whispered in my ear.
"I love you too" I whispered back.
He snuck a kiss. And then the sun came out. While we were kissing. We basically danced until the rain ended. 2 hours. I checked my phone 298 messages from the people at the house... oh God... but I didn't respond to them. The time was 9:30 pm! Oh my God!!!! ITS LATE! I told Jack and we grabbed everything and drove home.
"Where were you guys?" Andrea asked just as we walk in. ".... AND WHY ARE YOU WET???"
"Well...." Jack began.
