Everybody's got a story to tell
Some of joy and great laughter
Others of how their life is Hell

And sadly, not all endings are "happily ever after"

We are books, hidden in the depths of polished wood
Many of us worn, with dust upon our pages

Some are fresh and new, still innocent and good
Many books will pass throughout the ages

But in every book, you must read between the lines
We've all got guilt that can't be wiped away

We cannot read on, it's the sin that binds
Some shall give up and their story begins to fray

People lose their sanity, how will this story end?
For they cannot run away, the chains hold them still

Page by page, the book becomes too broken to mend
The emptiness too much to fill

But here am I, one story waiting to be read
You can turn the pages, my guilt is in the past

You won't regret listening to my story
So listen to what I have to say, it might do you well

It's a fairytale of dragon battles and kingdom glory
Read more, for upon you my words may cast a spell
