The problem with putting others first is that it becomes second nature.

It consumes you.

If someone else isn't happy or need helps it becomes your problem that you have to fix.

You come second.

Not first.

That is everyone else.

Your health, problems and worries become minor and irrelevant unless everyone is satisfied and at peace with themselves.

And since not everyone can be at ease all at once your problems get shoved away into a box in the dusty corner of your mind.

The boxes pile up.

The problems get larger.

And then one day:

BOOM.

It bursts and you collapse.

And then you feel weak and pathetic because your issues don't matter.

Why are you crying over these stupid problems?!

All of these little things?!

They are not important.

You are not important.

Get up and help someone else.

And that's what you do.

You pick yourself up.

Dust yourself off.

And the vicious cycle starts again.

Help others not yourself.

You're not worth it.
