Kiba said breathlessly as he held said boy's door post for support.

"Kiba...what brings you here on this fine day?"

Shino asked with a raised eyebrow and a smirk behind his uplifted shirt collar.

"I need... your help... with something."

Kiba said between gasps of breath.

"What is it?"

"It's Hinata. She's been acting weird lately well yesterday to be precise well anyways she said she got bit by a bug and we think it's the reason why she was acting so... *gulps* sensual. Do you know what type of bug this is?"

Kiba asked as he showed Shino the picture.

"Ah, I do. It's the Plecia nearctica or the love bug in common terms. Its saliva contains a pheromone that increases the hormone levels in its partner when mating. It's strange though... how it took that effect on Hinata-chan."

"Yeah it's strange all right. It totally messed with her brain. She thought she loved me!"

"Hmm.... There is another strange thing here... there aren't really any wild love bugs around Konoha. The only love bugs presently here are the ones I have collected and they are all in jars."

Shino stated as he glanced over to a table with six jars on it.

Kiba walked over to the table and studied the jars. He tapped on one making the bug inside buzz. He studied each jar until he came to the last which he stared at with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Shino... Where is the bug that's supposed to be in this jar?"

Kiba asked and pointed to the empty jar.

Shino walked to Kiba's side and observed the jar.

"I took the bug out for further study a few days ago..."

Shino trailed off and silence engulfed the two boys.

".....Please tell me you put the bug back?"

Silence was his answer.

"...So you mean it's your fault all this happened to me..."

Kiba droned and still no reply but an uneasy shift of weight.

"Shino...imma cut off ya beads."

Kiba told him calmly.

"My beads..."

Shino eyed him confused and sceptic.

"YES YOUR HAIRY STINK'IN BEADS!!"

Kiba growled as he gripped Shino's collar forcefully. Behind his glasses the bug boy's eyes widened considerably.

'Crap.'

No Shino's were harmed in the making of this one-shot..... ROFL
