Damon held Elena's head and stroke the tip of her ears with his thumb. He cleared the hair off her face and they smiled to each others. Elena gave Damon a quick little kiss on his lips and rested her head on Damon's chest. Damon smiled a typical, soft Damon smile, his beautiful blue eyes were hushed by the light of the fire. His eyes looked like two big marbles with a lot of dark/fall colors in it.
Elena's cheek lighted up red because of the warm fire, her hands were between Damons arms. They both fell asleep while the fire was still burning, giving the room a sweet and warm sphere.
