I was glad I was a year too young to enter the tournament but the rest of the Durmstrang delegation was eligible, which made me slightly nervous for some unknown reason.

Today we were to begin our integrated classes and I was excited to see what Karkaroff had managed for me.

"As requested." Karkaroff hands me a slip of parchment with a full schedule for the week.

"Thank you, Sir." Nearly everything was on there; Astronomy, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, History of Magic, Potions, Transfigurations, Care of Magical Creatures, Arithmancy, and Dark Arts.

"Vaht classes have they put you in?" Viktor starts up casually over a glass of pumpkin juice.

"It doesn't really matter, does it?" I grimace and strain my tea into my cup.

"Can I see?" He points at the piece of parchment. I shrug and he snatches it before I can change my mind. "We only have Dark Arts." He complains.

"I don't even care if that means they've underestimated me." I grin. He scowls. "Off to my first then."

My first class is Arithmancy, which I'm pleased about because it gives your brain an extra jog in the mornings. It was a Year Six class and I was glad for it because that meant the others would be closer to my age though I didn't think that would help the social boundaries of my being from another school.

"I'm Hermione Granger." I curly haired girl pops up as soon ar I enter the classroom.

"Hi, I'm Milena." She raises an eyebrow at me. "Milena Garza."

"You're not Scandinavian."

"I thought that was clear enough." I grin and give a small chuckle. "I'm from America. I used to go to the wizarding school in Hawaii."

"Why are you at Durmstrang now?" She asks a bit more foward than I had anticipated.

"My mom got remarried. Sebastian's his name. Well, he lives in Stockholm and works at the Swedish Ministry." I shrug and leave it at that.

"Sit with me." Hermione smiles and leads me to a desk for two, indicating that I was to sit on the right.

I had never taken a formal Arithmancy course do I was partially surprised that I kept up and sometimes surpassed my classmates.

"Who do you think will enter from Durmstrang?" Hermione asks while walking to our next class.

"Everyone who's eligible." I shrug, not giving it a second thought.

"How are you sure?"

"That's just the way they work. If you dangle victory, supremacy, glory, and fame in front of them they're like wolves."

"Milena." I groan at Viktor's voice behind me.

"Do you have any idea how much I want to strangle you?" I glance sideways at him when he catches up with me. Hermione departs hurriedly with a mumbled 'see you later'. "What do you want?"

"I am entering the tournament." He informs me.

"I knew you would." I shrug. I couldn't see why he was making a big deal of it. "Surely, you're not seeking my approval."

"Perhaps I am." He stiffens beside me.

"I'm not your mother or your sister and better yet I'm not your girlfriend so if you want to risk death for glory, that's your decision and I haven't got a say in the matter."

"So you don't care."

"That's not what I said."

"You do care?"
