Chapter 7

Kylie's Pov-
I walked inside the store with Jermaine trailing behind since he was walking like a snail. I turned down the frozen goods isle and stopped to look for my favorite ice cream. Once i spotted it i grabbed it and placed it in the basket. I turned around to see Jermaine just staring into space.

Kylie-j you eat mint right

Jermaine-yeah but uhh you ready to go

Kylie-i just need to get one more thing and we can go

He nodded as we walked down the next isle. I grabbed a couple more snacks and headed for the register. Once i started to put the snacks on the cashier someone started to help. I figured it was Jermaine so i didn't bother to look up until a voice interuppted me.

??-So i can't get a thank you ma

I knew that voice from anywhere. I looked up to see of course lucas.

Kylie-yeah thanks

I went to pay for my snacks and to hurry up and get out of the store. After i paid i rolled the basket to the door and turned to look for Jermaine who was no where to be found. I went to call him until that annoying voice interrupted me once again.

Lucas-you looking for ole boy he already left out the store

I looked up at lucas and nodded my head and turned to walk out but before i could my arm was pulled back. I turned to be faced with lucas.

Kylie-damn lucas what do you want

Lucas-i was tryna see if we could meet up to talk soon about what happened that day

Kylie-what is there to talk about lucas I'm over it

Lucas-but  I'm  not i said some things i didn't mean and i regret it

Kylie-lucas im ok i don't need any apologies

Lucas-but I'm not ok ky i miss you

I was a little taken back but what he had just said. I shook my head at him as i turned to walk out the store again which failed to happen.

Lucas-kylie stop damn im tryna talk to you i miss you i want to know how you've been doing i want to apologize for what i said

Kylie-lucas you want to really know how i have been doing

Lucas-yes kylie i care

Kylie-well i don't lucas i don't care i don't miss you and i have been doing mighty fine until you deicided to just pop up and think things would be all happily ever after just because you want to apologise

Lucas-why do you have to be so damn stubborn all the time  you don't have to act hard ma i know you care and miss me as much as i miss you i just want us to be back on good terms ky just let me make it up to you

Kylie-why lucas

Lucas-because i care about you and i want to be there for you as a friend so can i please just make it up

Kylie-i don't even care anymore lucas why do you want to change something that happened long time ago im over it now so you should be

I turned away walking off to my car without any interruptions. I put the bags in the car and hopped in to see Jermaine on the phone but once i got he he hung up. I turned towards him to see if he was alright.

Kylie-are you ok Jermaine

Jermaine-yeah i just had answer a very important call dont worry and I'm sorry i left you in the store

Kylie-naw it's alright but you still up to chill or you have to go

Jermaine-naw I'm still up for it

I nodded as i put the key in the ignition starting up the car. I pulled off driving towards my house.Soon I pulled up hopping out the car and jermaine flowing behind. I hit the lock on my car than unlocked the house walking in. I turn on the light in the house setting the snacks down and taking off my shoes by the door. I sat on the couch beside jermaine as he ignored my presence still on his phone.

Kylie-Jermaine
I watched as he didn't answer me I chuckled. Thinking who did he think he was to just sit in my house and ignore me.
He soon turned towards me looking nervous.

Kylie-you straight ?

Jermaine-yeah and sorry about my attitude something happened so I gotta head out

Kylie-ok I understand

Jermaine stood and walked towards me kissing my forehead than headed out .I shut the door behind him. I sat down sighing and calling Ashanti. She answered on the first ring.

Ashanti-same phone who dis?

Kylie-hey shanti can you come over I got snacks and we can chill

Ashanti-what happened bout jermaine?

Kylie-I'll explain when you get here

Ashanti-ok be there in 10 minutes
I hung up the phone and got up looking for a movie to pop in to watch. I looked over the movies deciding on Beyond the Lights. I sat the movie down and ran into the kitchen to pop some popcorn. As it started a I heard a knock at the door I ran to the door opening it without looking.

Kylie-Come in Ashanti

??-uhmm
I turned around to not see Ashanti but a short light skinned girl with medium length red hair.
Kylie-oh sorry may I help you

??-yeah I'm looking for jermaine my fiancé

I stood there dumb founded once again I had fucked up again letting someone play with my feelings.
