Harry's was the first birthday after the war ended. He wasn't expecting anything, of course, and he actually ended up forgetting it even was his birthday when July 31st came around. He was therefore very taken aback when he walked into a surprise party of epic proportions. The remaining members of the Order were present, along with Dumbledore's Army, and a few people he knew had fought in the battle. Even Aberforth showed up. It was the first opportunity they'd had to rejoice without regret, and the Weasleys (who had organized the whole thing, together with Hermione) put everything they had into making it a spectacular affair. They let themselves forget their grief and sorrow for a day and instead celebrated Harry's birth, and his life, and what that had meant to all of them. The festivities lasted all day and well into the night and Harry thought that, aside from his eleventh, it was the best birthday he'd ever had.
