Well this week went by fast.

A lot has happened this week.

I always thought magic wasn't real based on what my dad always told me... But the day when Devin showed me those paintings coming to life, I've been wanting to see them again, after all, I've always wanted fairy tales to be reality when I was little.

My phone had rung, it was Devin so I answered it.

*Phone Conversation*

"Hello"

"Hey Lexi, are you busy today?" He asked.

"No why"

"I wanted you to come by my place" he said

"Let me guess, it's magical"

He laughed at me and said "No. Well not like the paintings were"

"Oh really, ha-ha, but I can't, I'm on punishment remember"

"Aww come on please" he begged

"I'm sorry, but I can't. I've snuck out so many times and always got caught. I could just imagine what my mom would say if I snuck out again"

"What time of the day do you normally sneak out?" he asked

"Daytime, why?"

"Well that's the problem, come by my place around 10, after your mom goes to sleep" he said

"Wait but Devin I-"

"See ya then"  he said as he hung up.

Great. And I don't even know where he lives.

Then my phone vibrated.

It was Devin, he texted "here's my address".

When I looked at the address I had noticed that it looked very familiar to me, but aside from that it was way downtown, which would cost a lot, but I guess I'm going.

***********

About five hours had past. It was now 9:00. I went to go check on my mom. Finally she was fast asleep.

I put my shoes on and my jacket, grabbed my money, then left.

When I arrived at the bus stop, nobody was there and to make it worst it was pitch dark. When the bus had came, I got on and it took off.

-30 minutes later-

I got off the bus, and Devin was standing right at the bus stop.

"Hey" he said smiling.

"Hey, how long have you been waiting here?"

"Just got here, I never told you I have to take the bus in order to get home after school" he said

"Oh okay, so Where's your house?"

All I saw was trees and road that was about it. "Come this way" he said as he grabbed my hand.

We started walking through the woods, over bushes, and even by trees.

"Where exactly is your house?"

"Just through here" he replied.

We kept walking till we finally made it to a very, very big house.

"wow" I whispered.

When we walked in the house, I had notice that the inside looks bigger then the outside....then something came to me.

"I've...been here before"
