I never thought you'd be the one,

To come to our school, my school,

The clever school, the one with high grades,

Yet you chose to break the rules.

I never thought you'd be the one,

To notice me, rather ignore me like the rest,

You treat me like I'm visible,

I think I must be blessed.

I never thought you'd be the one,

To befriend me and hold me close to your heart,

You're close to mine as well,

We can't, we won't be torn apart.

I never thought you'd be the one,

To love me and never let me go,

At least, that's what you say, and I believe it,

Because you pulled me up from a low.

I never thought you'd be the one,

Who takes me away from all the stress,

Away from friends, family and my home,

But, with you, the answer was a clear 'yes'.

I never thought you'd be the one,

To help my dreams become reality,

Living a life full of fashion, boys and trends,

Not worrying about normality.

I never thought you'd be the one,

To be by my side one glorious morning,

But by the time midday came and went,

You had left without a warning.

I never thought you'd be the one,

To turn my dreams to reality to depression,

Now I'm alone, away from everything I cared about,

I see now you owned me like a possession.

To abandon me when you got bored,

I can't believe I trusted you, loved you,

And now look at my reward.

I never thought you'd be the one,

To make my friends and family hate me,

I have nowhere to go, nothing to do,

I'm slowly turning into nobody.

I never thought you'd be the one,

To make me sit all day and cry,

Forcing the blade into my skin,

It won't be long before you make me die.
