Chapter 25----Sabotage
VENUS' POV
Another Logan and Cierra headline. This time on how happy they are with each other. Logan never goes to malls.
I am so pissed. Habang tumatagal ay lalong lumalabo ang possibility na maagaw ko siya. I need to do something,
Sooner not later.
I was walking towards the elevator nang nakasalubong ko si Leone, isa sa mga partners ng company.
"The beautiful, Venus. Long time no talk," bati nito sakin and I stopped.
"Hi, Leone," ngumiti ako.
"Care for some coffee?"
Tumango ako dahil nasa same floor naman ang coffee shop. Ilang taon na rin namang kaibigan namin ni Logan si Leone kaya kahit paano ay may tiwala ako sa lalaking ito.
Nag-order siya ng dalawang cafe americana at umupo kami nang magkaharap.
"Seems like Logan really is happy with her," puna niya habang nakatingin sa newspaper na nasa table namin. "Somehow I don't regret letting him have her, you know."
"What are you saying?" nag-sip ako ng coffee.
"I was gonna marry that girl but I found out that Logan was already engaged to her. So we made a deal, I won't bother as long as he marries her. Don't tell me that you didn't know."
My jaw literally dropped.
"Oh, I guess you didn't," he laughed and sipped his coffee.
What if Logan just acted out of impulse? What if he just rushed into the marriage? That means...
"Maybe you could have her back."
Tumingin sakin si Leone bago nagsalita.
"That is not possible. I already promised Logan I won't bother them, 'kay? And besides, you know I'm a man of my word."
"Look how beautiful Cierra is," I really didn't think so. Kailangan ko lang maconvince tong si Leone. "I mean, don't you want to marry someone like her?"
Tiningnan ni Leone nang ilang segundo ang newspaper at tumango ito.
"She really is beautiful. What exactly do you have in mind?"
Bingo.
I got my shot to ending this fairytale marriage.

MARK'S POV
Monday again. Asan na kaya si Cierra? I saw the papers today. Talagang mahal siya ni Logan.
I remember before nung high school pa kami, he never went to any malls.
He told us before,
"It would take someone really awesome to make me go to those malls without asking me to."
I thought it was impossible... Til yesterday.
In case you're wondering why Logan never goes to malls, one reason is the attention he gets when he goes. Second is nung bata pa kasi siya, he almost got kidnapped inside a mall.
"Mark, Sino iniisip mo?" I heard a voice ask.
I looked and saw it was Cierra, smiling.
Anong ilulusot ko?
"Ah. Yung exam natin tomorrow."
Napa-facepalm si Cierra.
"Ay Oo nga pala! Ahihi. Gusto mo sabay tayo mag-aral mamaya? Matatagalan daw ng konti si Logan kasi may meeting."
