Ross' POV
It's finally Winter Break.... yeah our school starts our break on Christmas Eve, it's super dumb. Today we're leaving for Colorado to spend time with family and tomorrow we're going over to the Marano's at night.

Stormie: *distant* ROSS LETS GO

Ross: COMING MOM

I run downstairs throw my luggage in the back of the car and we leave

[with Laura]

Laura: so when is everyone coming?

Ellen: well the ones that live farther away are coming today at 3 and tomorrow the others are coming tomorrow before the Lynch's come over

Laura: okay

Laura's POV
I ran up the stairs when I heard my phone ringing. I picked up my phone to see that it's Ross:
Laura: Hey Ross what's up... I thought you would be on your plane to Colorado by now
Ross: just wanted to say goodbye, Merry Christmas Eve and I'll see you tomorrow
Laura: right back at you..... Oh hey could you put Delly on the phone I have to ask her something
Ross: sure *hands the phone to Rydel*
Rydel: hey Laur what's up
Laura: uhh I wanted to ask if you could help me look through old pictures when you get back to put up on the storage space
Rydel: oh yeah sure.... How is it coming I haven't been paying attention
Laura: they are putting the final touches on it on the 26th cause it's Christmas and no one should be working
Rydel: so kind hearted
Laura: I know I'm great.... Okay you can give the phone back to Ross
Rydel: yes ma'am *gives the phone back to Ross*
Ross: I'm back, what were you and Delly taking about
Laura: your birthday present
Ross: what is it????
Laura: I'm not telling you
Ross: fine... I'll text you when I land
Laura: alright bye Rossome
Ross: bye Laurie
I end our call and set my my phone down on the side table so I can start getting ready for my relatives to come.

[back with Ross]

Riker: this plane ride is boring

Stormie: then find something to do

Riker: I can't

Ross: just try... God your annoying

Riker: well your not any better

Rydel: boys calm down.... Your giving me a headache

Riker and Ross: stay out of it

Mark: this is going to be a very long flight

Rydel: you have no idea

[3 hours later]

Rydel's POV
We finally landed after 3 hours of Riker and Ross fighting about nothing. I look over to see Ross looking down at his phone and not where he's going

Rydel: Ross who are you texting

Ross: Laura... I told her I would text her when we land

Rydel: alright I think it's time to talk

Ross: about what

Rydel: you and Laura

Ross: what about me and Laura

Rydel: you obviously like her

Ross: what... No I don't

Rydel: oh come on Ross you alway make an excuse to go and talk to her... I've seen your messages from like every single day and Lilly told me that you don't like to leave her side at school

Ross: we're just best friends

[with Vanessa]

Vanessa's POV
Me and Rydel set up this plan to get Ross and Laura to figure out their feelings for each other cause they obviously do. I walk into Laura's room to see her doing her hair

Vanessa: so.... Let's talk

Laura: about what?

Vanessa: You and Ross... You know how you like Ross

Laura: no... I don't like Ross

Vanessa: I don't know ever since you guys hung out that one Saturday you guys have been inseparable

Laura: we're just best friends

[with both]

Rydel/Vanessa: really???

Ross/Laura: yes I'm positive

Rydel/Vanessa: tell me what you like about her/him

Ross: I like that she's sweet

Laura: I love his smile

Ross: she's more gorgeous than ever

Laura: he's so kind-hearted and such a sweetheart

Ross: she's hot and I love that even though she has friends that would be a bad influence on her she's still her goodie two shoes self

Laura: I love how he never backs down to anything and that he always fights for what he wants

Ross/Laura: oh my god.... I like Laura/Ross

Rydel/Vanessa: finally....

Rydel's POV
This is amazingly amazing. I get out my phone and start texting Vanessa
Delly Bean🍬: Hey how did it go
