I wonder if this page bothers you,
How I will immortalize the most mundane,
You see, dating writers has this side effect,
Can leave a funny aftertaste long after the sheets have been made and we've decided to put the relationship to bed.
I pen moments you have forgotten,
Still finding traces of you in subconscious
and so you shall find yourself in printed words
that do not go away as easily
as memories do.
I guess I should have warned you.
I guess I sort of did.
