Eda pov

Watching him play was an pure delight and my fav part of watching him play was when he celebrate his century in an aggressive manner which he stopped doing after WC 2023 the test series with England have mould him and his way of playing

Virat Bhai was at 106 and Shubman with 98 he needed 2 runs for an century the whole ground was silent I could feel the pressure he was under bcz getting out at 98 is worst thing an player could ever face and by god's grace the ball went to boundery making it an century

And the camera man finally focused on the game

Shubham was totally enjoying it I'm sure of it

Suddenly samyukta came out from the dressing room and sat beside me I knew what she is gonna do
" Lovvy dovvy huhhh?" She said giving me an side smile " what about you flirty flirty huhhh? " I tried to mimick her but failed it was an disaster attempt
Making both of us break into laughter

The batting went pretty good so did the fielding despite this being the 1st match for devdutt he did an pretty good fielding people were eager to see him bat as he did an phenomenal performance in the domestic

But at the end we thought the match might slip from  our hand but it didn't, today match was an exciting one

After team meeting we went back to hotel, everyone was going back into their rooms and I decided to wait for my brother in reception

I opened my insta account ( we all know that celebrities have an unofficial insta accounts) she liked to know what has happening around in and of the industry she was more into gossip

She saw the people started to ship her and Shubman by making edits creating fan accounts and hashtags on seeing all this she laughed a little

I was scared of getting out on 98 it is the worst thing that can happen and the ball hit 4 giving me an century and I looked towards the duck trying to look at her but it was impossible since the distance is long but seems like the camera man understood my feelings and focused on eda she was caught off guard' is she blushing? ' that was the 1st thing that came to my mind, I'm manifesting for the day when eda will stand in the family era and cheer for me              ' God I just wanna Marry her'

It was cute when she got irritated by cameraman and told him to focus on man ' how cute our kids would be' and then my future planing was disturbed by Virat bahi " since when did this start"

" I myself don't know when it did but I'm sure that it'll never end "

" Totally whipped" Virat bhai said patting my shoulder

She was waiting in the lobby might be for her brother, her face was totally the phone and she was smiling and blushing ' what's making her blush except for me' I walked towards her and tried to sneak into her phone ' is she watching fan made edits of me and her?' and I heard her mumble ' untill now we didn't even kiss for once and they are taking about relationship and marriage'

My hand went towards her face and sliding an strand of hair falling on her face she suddenly frozen under my touch, I slid my fingers tracing her jawline and stoped at her chin and make her look into my eyes but lifting her face with my index finger

Samyukta pov

Everyone was walking towards their rooms some with their partner and some alone ' mera vala kaha hai ' ( where did my man go)my eyes were searching for him but he was nowhere to be found making me pout ' Amma always told me mukusuti gaa undaku ani ' ( my mom always told me to be always don't be straight forward) ' did I scare him? No no I think he might have went back into the room

I walked towards into the elevator and pressed the botton but and voice stooped me ' wait ' it was my baby ' Dev' he got into the lift and pressed the top terrace floor " we need to talk " he said in an Sharpe tone, I was little taken aback by his tone ' is he planning to push me from the terrace no no he won't or would he '

We both walked towards the terrace in this whole walk his didn't utter an single word or looked at me

" What do you want to talk?" Samyukta asked
Her heart is beating faster which made her think that this freking thing might pop out of her rib cage' is he going to not let me pursue him but he agreed to it ... wait wait he didn't he just remained silent.....is my 1st love going to be an unrequited one?

In this chapter I tried to balance all the leads but it's getting difficult to manage both story at once

So I was thinking of writing dev and samyukta story seperately

So it would make easy for their fans
