Time flew very fast there were only 2 days left for INDvsAUS match and this is the phase where the tension, panic kick's in

since there were only 2 days left for the tournament the couch and captain were taking special care of our mental and physical health
After completing our net practice Siraj and I decided to take a break but then my feel on Eda who was practicing like a maniac she was lacking breath sweat covered her face and her eyebrows frowned with tension

HER POV

match is in two day's and it's an prestige issue for Indian team to win this series will play an important role in my carrier I was so tensed that I'm not able to have proper sleep from 3 days...the tension is killing me captain and couch gave me serious instructions to not over work but this time I can't listen to them
.....I have to keep on over working on my self to be the best

If someone is scoring 100 then I have to score 200 that's how I can make a place for myself in this team

The chain of thoughts were broken by an voice "Eda" without turning my head towards that voice direction I could say that it was shubman

Shubman : are you okay?

Eda : pre match tension.... that's it ... don't worry I'm fine

Shubman: you don't look fine eda you are taking a lot of stress

Eda : I have to take stress shubman then only I can have my place fixed

Shubman: you are right one low performance tournament it enough to give full stop to our carrier

Eda : I can't effort that loss shubman...not only me any player can't effort downfall

Hearing eda's word's made Shubman remember his past 2024 after world cup the test series where everyone told that his is not fit for these types of format he can only play t20 but he bounce back

Only he knows the mental pain he went though during the test series

Shubman: is your practice done if it's done the let's go out Brisbane is an amazing City to explore

Eda : are you asking me out shubman?

Shubman: can't I ?

Eda : meet me at lobby in 1hr

Saying this eda walked back into her room

After 1hr at lobby

Shubman was talking on his phone and then suddenly there was a sound of lift and he knew that it was eda

She wore black turtle neck top with white and black floral skirt

Seeing her walking towards him with a warm smile made his heart skip a beat his eyes were not letting her go out his view

Eda : why don't you take a picture

Shubman: don't worry I have a pretty good memory this view would never leave my mind

Eda : you are such a flirt .....so tell me where are we going?

Shubman: just follow me .... that's it

They spent the whole day together laughing, flirting with eachother, jokes , pranks ...eda always preferred being alone while travelling but being with shubman made her feel at ease she started to like his company she was feeling warm being with him

Shubman: let's go back

Eda : not so early....no it's my turn to show you around

Shubman: but it's 9 30 eda

Eda : it's the correct time to explore the city

Shubman sounded hasitent but suddenly eda heald his hand  " don't worry I'll manage if anything happens....come with me"

Eda took shubman to a clube they had some drinks and played few games

By 11 eda was completely wasted she was not even  able to walk straight " you said that you would take care of everything but look at you now" he said in a teasing tone " I can take care of it don't worry no one will scold you ... I'll always stand with you "

Hearing her say ' I'll always stand with you ' made
his heart skip a beat at this moment he knew that he is falling for her deeper than he though

Shubman managed to take eda into her room without anyone's notice

He lay her on the bed and tuck lose strands of her hair behind her ear " good night eda " saying that he took a step back and turn around to leave his steps were stopped by an hand holding into his
"Don't go " eda said in a drunk low pitch voice " why do you want me to stay" he said leaning into her with his hand on her cheek he stroke her cheek with his thumb she snuggle into his hand " it feels warm and good being with you I don't wanna lose this feeling not even for a second " " we share mutual feelings eda " saying this he lay beside her on the  bed and cover her with comforter " sweet dreams eda" he said with a kiss on her forehead

He though of leaving her room when she slept but suddenly his eyes felt heavy and made him slowly drift into deep sleep

They both slept beside eachother with their hands interlocked
