The morning came through the trees, Tigerstar opens his eyes as he lifted his head. His ears perk up.

Scourge's eyes slowly opened as he felt TigerStar stir. He was still tired, but the sight of him waking up filled him with joy.

He sat up and stretched, yawning loudly. "Good morning," He said to TigerStar,"How do you feel?" He asks.

Scourge couldn't help but smile as he watched TigerStar stretch. His movements were so graceful and elegant, even when he was just waking up.

He stood up as well and stretched his own body out, feeling the ache in his muscles from sitting still for so long.

"You, stayed..?" Tigerstar asks in disbelief.

Scourge looked at TigerStar, his expression softening as he saw the surprise in his eyes. "Of course I did," He said softly,"I wasn't going to leave you here alone."

Tigerstar gets up and decided that he should exit the den. Scourge followed TigerStar out of the den.

Letting the sunlight warm his own fur. He felt a sense of peace wash over him as he stood outside in the open air.

He turned to look at TigerStar and smiled. "It's beautiful today," *he said,"I love being able to enjoy moments like this."

Tigerstar's ears twitched. "Don't get comfy.." He muttered as the other clan members come out.

Scourge's smile faded as he heard TigerStar speak. He knew that the other clan members were not going to be happy to see him here.

especially after everything that had happened between them in the past.

He stayed close by TigerStar's side, ready for whatever might happen next.

Scourge's body tensed up as he heard the hissing and growling of the other clan members.

He was ready to defend himself if necessary, but he hoped that they would let him stay here with TigerStar.

He stayed silent and kept his eyes on them, waiting for their next move.

Tigerstar stood tall. "Stop." They did as told. But they didn't like it. "I know Scourge is here and that is a shocker..," he paused.

Scourge was surprised by TigerStar's authority over the other clan members.

It seemed that they were willing to listen to him, even if they didn't like what he had to say.

He stayed still and watched as TigerStar spoke up on his behalf. He couldn't help but feel a bit relieved that he wasn't being attacked right now.

Scourge was used to being on the outside looking in. He had always felt like he didn't quite fit in.  and so it wasn't unusual for him to feel uneasy around other cats.

But now that he was here among TigerStar and the rest of the clan, he couldn't help but wonder if maybe things could be different this time. Maybe there was a chance that they would accept him after all.

Rowanpaw hissed as she yelled, "Scrouge needs to get out of here!! "

Scourge felt his heart sink as he heard Rowanpaw's words. He knew that there were some who would never accept him, no matter what he did.

He turned to face her and looked at her with a neutral expression, not wanting to show any signs of weakness or fear in front of the other cats.

"I understand your concerns," he said calmly,

"But I assure you that I mean no harm."
