A friend of mine told me a story about her first love, all about the butterfly effect that I never thought was real, about how much this person made her world feel all that much better,
Like everything her little heart had ever desired had come true but then came the part she wished wasn't part of her story,
The lies and the betrayal, both things she wanted to wish away, but still she stayed because there was something about first loves that made it seem like no one would come after them,
So she held on because she didn't know how to let go and I couldn't blame her because this was her introduction to love,
But the sad thing was, it wasn't his.
