I've laid my heart and soul bare to you like a soldier laying his weapons down but still I'm yet to crack the walls surrounding yours,
And there is only so far I can go, only so much I can take till I can not anymore,
I can not love you if you will not let me, I can not give you everything only for you to refuse it,
I'm nothing more than a man even though I try to convince myself otherwise sometimes but I'm still a man and there is only so much left to give.
