That fair lady, oh how I remember that lovely summer night, how her voice filled the room with life,

Every eyes on her like something to be treasured eternally, although her voice was what filled the room, her beauty was what made every eye roll,

But we all knew her lucky man and there he was, the only person in the room worthy of her gaze

Their love was something we wished we had, all the lessons that made it stronger was something we looked up to.

I love the relationship between my parents, their resilience is something I always hoped was passed down and as I grow older I see more of that resilience in myself and lord knows I'm happy for it.
