I'd never think I'd fall in love with someone I just met. But who wouldn't when it came to mates.

Things change pretty quickly in the World of Wolves compared to The Human World. Even knowing this, it feels strange. Strange how I went from nearly getting force mated to a fucker to finding my mate and... you know... uhm... everything.

She snorts. ''And If I don't? Will you slap yourself on the face?''

''Darling?'' Aleric's voice is laced with worry and a hint of curiousity. Now that we had... intimate moments, I can literally feel his emotions.

''Are you ok?'' He asks.

Helera snorts.

The tip of his mouth lifts. ''Hell, huh? I guess I interrupted a heated discussion, then.''

I'm suddenly concerned whether he can see my blushed face or not.

''Do you often argue with her?''

''Yep. She is a dickhead.''

''And you're a smartass.''

Aleric laughs. ''Don't worry, darling, it's normal.''

I sigh. ''Yeah I know. It's just frustrating.''

''Yeah, I argue with Den a lot too. It's general problem among wolves.That's because our wolves tend to have different character than us, you know?''

''Yeah, just completely opposite you mean.''

''Yes. That's how we're supposed to be though. I mean, to be able fill each other.''

''Like yin-yang.'' I mutter.

''Yin-yang? The black and white Chinese symbol?''

''Yes. It is said it means that there's good in bad and bad in good... just like there's a whiteness in the black and blackness in the white side of the symbol... which creates a balanced soul.''

''Uh-huh? I've seen it on my phone and several times when I've been to Asian packs. I never thought it had such meaning.''

''Yeah. Actually, when I first saw it, I thought of werewolves.''

''So who's the bad in good in your case?'' He asks teasingly.

''Isn't that obvious!'' I blink at him innocently. ''Helera, of course!''
