*Hunter's POV*

"No!"

I glance towards the source of the panicked voice, Talia raising a hand towards me. I glance to my right, coming face to face with some droids, and a blaster shot flying towards me.

I don't have time to think, when I'm sent flying backwards. I tumble against the hard ground, orienting myself to catch myself in a crouching position. As I slide to a stop, I look back towards the others. Shots fly towards the two droids, disposing of them quickly.

My gaze darts to Talia, who's stumbling backwards. I study her for a second, spotting the blood dripping down her armor. My eyes widen, "Talia!" I stand and quickly run towards her, not caring about the droids firing from the other hall. Echo reacts quickly, laying down cover fire as I cross. Crosshair peeks out beside him, taking out the droids quickly.

I crouch beside Talia, who has fallen to the floor. Her gloved hands hover her wound. A charred hole can be seen going through the armor on her right side, her breathing quick and frantic. "H-Hunter," her modulated voice stutters, a firm hand grabbing my forearm. She raises her head to look at her torso, but I stop her, "look at me, you're gonna be fine," I tell her, desperately trying to hold myself together.

"I'm gonna die," she states, her voice more high pitched than normal. I remove my helmet, then her own. "Look at me Talia, you're gonna be okay," I tell her again as my eyes meet hers.

She nods, but her breathing doesn't relax, and instead starts to sound more like wheezing. "We need to move, more droids are sure to be on the way," Tech states. I slide my arms under the injured girl, slowly pushing myself up to stand. She cries out in pain as we move, scrunching up her body.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," I whisper as I follow the others, unsure she's even listening. Echo opens a door on the side of the hall, the lights activating as we enter. It closes behind us, Crosshair taking up a position beside it incase we are discovered.

I slowly lower Talia to the ground, small cries of pain coming from her as I do. Echo crouches on her opposite side, studying the situation. Tech scans her with his datapad, "she has a collapsed lung, internal bleeding, and shattered armor pieces penetrating into her skin."

I move quickly, Echo helping to remove the armor from her torso. She rolls her head back, gritting her teeth as the shattered armor is pulled from her skin. Her blacks are darker than usual, absorbing the blood from the wound. I place my hands on top of eachother, pressing down hard onto the wound.

She cries out again, instinctively moving to push me away. Echo stops her, and she lays back once more, constant groans of pain leaving her. I glance around the room at the others, trying to decide what to do next.

Wrecker's face is covered in nothing but worry. Crosshair's gaze flicks towards us, clearly trying to stop himself from looking as worried as he is. I look back down at Talia, her eyes shut. "What's going on," I command, looking up toward Tech. "She has passed out, and is losing blood quickly."

"We need to leave, now," Echo states. I lift my hands, noticing the bleeding has slowed. I move to pick her up once more, Tech stopping me. "It would make more sense for Wrecker to carry her up the elevator shaft," he says quietly.

I stare at him for a moment, before sighing and stepping back. Wrecker takes my place, scooping up the injured girl and replacing his helmet, her helmet in his other hand. I take my own helmet from Echo, replacing it upon my head. We turn to head back to the door, Tech gently grabbing my shoulder.

I turn towards him as he speaks softly, "she'll be fine, but we need you focused if we are going to get out of here, alive." I nod, turning back towards the door. I take a deep breath, leading the way back into the hall.
