EPILOGUE

"Got everything?" Isaac asked.

"Just about, yeah."

My eighteenth had been two nights before.

Technically Avery had been 18 for a whole year now, which we were only now learning.

[yeah I aged her up so what?]

The night started and ended with chaos.

It also ended with Gray and I well ya know...

"Oh im gonna miss you!" Libby yelled engulfing me in a hug.

She baked me endless amounts of cupcakes.

"Make sure to call sparky!" Nash yelled.

Avery had even started being considerably nicer to me.

"See you." She said.

I just nodded before hugging Thea and Bex.

I wasn't mad at either of them.

Thea did what she had to for the woman she loved. I'd never blame her for that.

Luke and Lena both began to lecture me on not getting myself killed and such topics.

"Yeah yeah mom and dad I won't drink too much I swear."

"You won't drink at all!" Isaac warned.

"Jeez grandpa, relax!"

Xander wished me adieu and then I went to engulf my little girl in hugs and kisses.

I had officially adopted Kayleigh.

"I'll miss you momma."

"I'll miss you too my baby, don't harrow daddy too much okay?"

She nodded innocently.

Liar.

After goodbyes were said and everyone left I felt the absence of one person.

Grayson.

"He hasn't shown huh?" Isaac pondered.

I shook my head in dismay.

Just as we were about to leave I felt a hand grab mine.

"Grayson."

"Don't go." He begged before I could get a word out.

"Gray I have to."

"Fine then at least let me do this."

"Do what?"

He pulled me by my waist and kissed me.

He kissed me like he was never letting go, because he didn't want to let go.

The world was nothing except me and him.

"Listen guys, I love this, I really do, I've been sailing this ship from the beginning but the flight leaves in an hour."

"ISAAC!"

"Fine, fine."

He turned, walked away and I laughed.

"I love you Gray."

"I love you too."
