Friday 8 am : it's graduation day sitting next to Oliver in the only two seats in the gym since it's snowing outside , we really are the only ones graduating early out of 20 kids that took the test guessing the other 18 weren't very lucky or ready , the nervous feeling rushes over me as they call our names asking us to come forward to grab our diplomas thanking them as we take our photos waiting to be dismissed so we can leave early as the bell rings for passing time me and Oliver make our way towards the front of the building acting like we still go to school here even though we don't anymore we didn't want it to be obvious , accidentally bumping into someone I say sorry "ugh watch it bitch" I look up and notice it's the town whore once again" " excuse me tf you just call me" I finally had enough knowing today would be the only day I'd be able to say or do something I lift my fist and begin to beat her ass as she pulls my hair yelling for someone to pull me off finally Oliver grabs me pulling me away walking me towards the front of the building as we are walking she begins to yell "you're dead miller so fucking dead" not knowing what she meant by that I didn't pay much attention I was to focused on the fact that I planned on going home to pack and book a plane ticket to get the hell out of this town .

As I'm getting into Oliver's car he asks if we shall get food before going home and asked me if I need to grocery shop before the winter storm comes through, shit I thought to myself winter is coming not tomorrow not the next day but tonight the storm begins tonight. " yeah food would be nice and grocery shopping I totally forgot about the winter storms" " yeah being locked up in the woods for 6 months will be rough miss Ivy no guy friends to take care of ur needs and no human interaction no friends to hang with absolutely nothing but silence" he says looking away from me looking nervous for what's about to come .

After getting food we walk into the grocery store grabbing anything and everything we'll possibly need , food and hygiene things months worth actually even though we don't live together we just live next to each other , we begin to cash out everything making our way out to the car we get stopped by the town whores uncle again he parked next to us "u better watch ur back miss ivy I heard what u did not so innocent after all huh" Oliver looks at me and motions for me to get in his car rushing over to the door I get in patiently waiting for him to get done unloading our groceries as that man practically eye fucks me I could only imagine what he's thinking but he won't get anything I know that for a fact , Oliver gets in turning his engine on frustrated and mumbling curse words about the man and how disgusting he is slowly pulling out the parking spot heading into town for different things , pulling into the candy store parking lot and he ran in grabbing anything and everything once again he looked so cute like a kid on Christmas Day , he came out with 3 bags full of candy , I didn't notice him getting into the car "so coffee or hot coco" " mmmm hot coco" we went through the drive through of some small town coffee shop getting our hot coco before we head up the hill .

40 mins into the drive we make it up our drive way struggling the engine of the truck rolling as it fights the wet snow and ice mixture it's getting worse out here I never thought it would get this bad I thought to myself . The engine shuts off getting out of the truck Oliver helps me bring in my groceries before he heads out to take his in I thank him for caring so much not noticing he left a bag of sweet treats on my kitchen counter mixtures of his favorite candies he wants me to try , he welcomes me then leaves leaving me alone for a cold lonely night .

Waking up cold and sweaty and breathless not noticing I ripped my shirt from grabbing it trying to pull it away from my skin , I sigh another nightmare great , not paying attention to the knocking on the front door as I start rushing for the front door ignoring the fact my shirt is ripped and I have no pants on wiping the sleep an wetness away from my eyes I swing open the door feeling a rush pass me a mixture of cold and instant warmth swarms me "Ivy" are u okay I heard screaming it sounded like u needed help" " no no I'm perfectly fine just have this thing I get bad dreams sometimes" Oliver looks at me eyes wide trying to keep eye contact avoiding everything else on my body I instantly sink into the ground trying to cover myself , noticing that he's only in pajama pants and cowboy boots and no shirt both of us just woke up and thought of nothing " I uh sorry let me go put some clothes on" I ran past him hurrying to put clothes on to save myself from further embarrassment he practically seen me naked at this point , ugh I'm sooo stupid I thought to myself hurrying to change my shirt and throw pants on wondering why he would rush over here instantly thinking something bad had happen to me but whatever the reason is I'm determined to find out .

Running downstairs Oliver's sitting at the edge of my couch adding wood to my fire that's nearly out I have no heat system in this house besides the fire place I appreciate the thought that he's given into trying to keep me warm , "hey" he says " uh hey" " so these nightmares what are they about do they happen often" " yeah they happen often Oliver and it's just my mom I get nightmares of her sometimes" " but why did u come rushing over here thinking something was wrong" "oh the cop said some things while u we're in the car some threats but I don't think their brave enough to pull anything up here especially during winter" after he says that I start to panic and worry am I danger I wonder I mean surely like he said they won't do anything right .

Hmmm what could have that cop been threatening first it's the town whore threatening now her uncle things are getting interesting 🫣
