"Felix cumpeleanos isabella !" everyone sings. I smile as i blow out the candles. Everyone claps.
This is finally my 18th birthday party. 30/6/23.
"Happy birthday hermana" my brothers smile kissing my cheek. I smile and give them hugs before going around to mingle around.
We invited a bunch of people to a restaurant for my birthday dinner. After the dinner we go home.
I sit in bed thinking. A flashback.
"Mi isa so when you turn 18 i will throw you a big big party all for you and it will be so special with all the candies and the gifts you want because you are the best" little pablo smiles in his cute english. He speeds up at random words it's so cute.
As much as i try, i cant get him out of my head. I try to but he comes back each time i think ive forgotten him.
My sadness has slowly turned into anger. Something i cant believe but, towards pablo. I didnt think i could ever be mad at him.
I go downstairs to my parents again and we all sit in the living room and chill. I check my phone and see a bunch of happy birthday posts for me.
