Abby POV
I still felt a throb in my nose from when Winter attacked me. I was watching May walk away from from me, her figure getting smaller and smaller as she kept walking. Then she turned the corner, and was gone.
I walked the other way towards my sister's table.
She looked like she was crying, so I went over to see what's the matter.
"Did Winter attack you like she did to me?" I asked Addie.
"Since when do you care about me?"
"Well... I--"
"You don't have to know every detail of my life, but if you'd die if you never found out, Winter is moving away."
Thank god, I thought, she was getting on my nerves anyway.
"Oh." I responded. Then I walked away.
I went to go find May, so I could tell her the good news.
Are you not clear what the news is?
The good news is that Winter won't ruin our friendship.
