Hello Lovelies!
I hope all my readers, old and new, have thoroughly enjoyed Take You Down and all the ups and downs this book has to offer. For some, seeing that I have updated "Take You Down" on their newsfeed may be a complete shock--and it is, considering that it has been a while since this book was last completed.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to let you all know, among other things, that Take You Down has been entered into the 2015 Watty Award Competition. I am very excited at this time of year on Wattpad, because I get exposed to many brilliantly written stories that I never would have come across otherwise. So, good luck to the many talented and promising authors!
On another note, I would also like to let any of you know that I have been writing another interracial story called Rebellious Roots. Based on personal messages from individuals, those who loved Take You Down have grown fond of Rebellious Roots. (I have posted the url for Rebellious Roots in the external link if anyone gains interest.) I will make a few things clear, however: 1. This story is about a girl who struggles to find her identity even though it seems everyone has planned out her future for her. 2. This time, the female character will be traveling to a foreign country! I think it's about time I write about someone's experiences in a different environment. It will be more adventurous, innocent, and touching. All in all, I have great plans for this book, as I did for Take You Down, and I hope that those who are interested will give Rebellious Roots a chance (Which is also in the watty awards) as well!
