Chapter 11

Chapter 11: "No camera could ever capture the look in my eyes and the feelings in my heart when I look at you."

As the Magnetic stepped up on stage to rehearse for a musical show, a group of celebrities yelled so loudly that it startled me. Some artists under GD Ent. like myself have a lot of guestings lined up on various shows in order to promote our concert next month. 

"Ate," Macy leaned closer to me. "Bet ng mga iyan si kuya Cale. I heard them talking about him a while ago."

I glanced at the group again but chose to keep quiet. 

"Bakuran mo agad si kuya Cale, girl. Don't give them a chance to come close to him. Mga feeling magaganda lang naman iyang mga iyan. Kanina pa ako imbiyerna sa kanila."

"Pero magaganda naman talaga sila," sagot ko.

Pheobe sighed and slung her arm around my shoulders. "Ano ka ba? You're more beautiful. Huwag kang magpapakabog sa mga iyan. Kita mo yung tisay na may lahi? Her name is Tania. Girl, kilalang playgirl iyan."

"I heard when she likes someone, she doesn't stop until she gets them," dagdag ni ate Elle. 

"In short, malanshi," ani Macy.

I glanced at the girl they were talking about. She had a seductive smile on her face. I followed her line of vision, and it alarmed me when I realized that she was blatantly flirting with my man. 

"Chill," ate Elle said, tapping my back comfortingly. "Kuya Cale doesn't even notice her. Matter of fact, his eyes are on you most of the time."

Ate Elle was right. 

Ibinalik ko ang tingin kay Calem. I focused on their rehearsal and soon I found myself having fun. They were really awesome. Rehearsal pa lang pero bigay todo na sila.

As soon as they were done, Calem's eyes went to me. I knew that he would walk towards me. Pero pagbaba pa lang niya ng stage ay sinalubong na siya nung grupo ng mga artista. I bit my lower lip, watching them anxiously. 

"Girl, let's go. It's time to rehearse," ani Pheobe sabay hila sa akin papanhik sa stage.

Napabuntong-hininga na lang ako sabay sulyap sa direksiyon ni Cale. Napapalibutan pa din siya ng mga babae. Pero kita ko naman na pormal lang ang pakikitungo niya sa mga iyon. 

"Ate, yung tisay todo dikit kay kuya Cale," sumbong ni Macy sa akin.

I abruptly turned my attention towards Calem's direction. He was standing in front of the stage, watching us along with Kuya One, Vash, Zeck, and Inaki. But beside him was also the fair-skinned actress.

I had no idea what they were talking about. Pero isa lang ang alam ko at iyon ay hindi ko gusto ang pagdikit-dikit niya sa boyfriend ko. Suddenly, I had this urge to go down the stage and pull them apart. 

And I almost did if it weren't for ate Elle who took hold of my arm. "Sam, calm down and think clearly. Don't be impulsive. There are many cameras around," she whispered.

My eyes widened as I realized that I had almost done something that I would definitely regret. "Sorry," I mumbled.

She tapped my shoulder and nodded at me, full of understanding. "Okay lang iyan, Sam. Normal. Especially, it's your first relationship." Nahihiyang yumuko ako. "Now, take a deep breath."

Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath. I was never the confrontational type. Ayoko ng away. But when I saw Tania standing so close next to my boyfriend, I felt like I was ready to start a fight. That wasn't me. Kalmado akong tao. I never thought that I could be so possessive. I wasn't like this before Calem came into my life.
